Booking a room through their Ai automated system couldn’t be done . Hung up and booked a night on trevago, recalled direct to hotel where the check in person could not find the block of rooms pre booked at agreed pricing. 1/2 hour later package found and booked. No e- mail confirmation recieved as discussed. at hotel on arrival same desk person insisted no reservation made? Came back later 1/2 hour finally found reservation but insisted credit card # not there and required for damage deposit and others . Room not cleaned cleaning crew never in room. Don’t leave room in morning as desk clerk clears room keys at 0800 to 0830 every day. ( cleaning crew says that’s normal) . Problem with warm water for shower. Heater system extremely loud and a lack of sound proofing between rooms. More attention needs to be taken to the fruit in the breakfast room. Notified desk clerk after breakfast that room cards were shut off and needed redone to get into room and would be back to check out . On getting back clerk pushed receipts across desk and said they were charged on credit card. I notified clerk I wanted to pay with a debit card and she became belligerent and didn’t want to do that. After a conversation she then redid the charges . An extreme lack of training in customer relations was revealed in all aspects during interaction with the desk clerks.

This place has a homey feel. The area is quiet yet convenient to everything. The bed, pillows and bedding were really comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast.

It was okay. We had needed an extra pillow and they had none on hand when we went to ask. Hotel wasn’t full so they must not keep any on hand. Only had a Roku tv so you needed to sign into your subscriptions in order to use it.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel and our room was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The only heat in the room was a window unit which was a constant hum to keep the room warm enough on a -35 day. I didn't mind because I like white noise, but something to consider. We had an outer-facing room on the main floor and the extremely bright light outside our window shone into the room even with the curtains closed tightly. I had to hang blankets on the windows to keep the room dark enough for sleep, but I require darkness to sleep. The hotel was very nice and quiet with plenty of free parking. The free breakfast was better than some restaurants I have eaten at. The dining area was lovely, overlooking the timber frame lobby, it felt like eating at a ski resort. It was very easy to get in and out of the parking for the hotel from the main road through Okotoks.Definitely would stay here again.
