Welcome to your cozy retreat in Calgary! This spacious basement suite, nestled in a charming bungalow, offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for your stay.

Our inviting 3-bedroom suite comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests. The space features a large kitchen and living room area, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. You'll find two master bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a third room with a single bed, ensuring everyone has a cozy place to rest.

In the winter, you might be lucky enough to witness the magical northern lights from the backyard. Enjoy the outdoors on the patio, and if you’d like to use the fire pit, just let us know in advance so we can prepare the wood for you. Free street parking is available, with ample space typically found just two houses down the street.

For your convenience, multiple shops and restaurants are just a 5-minute drive away, including Safeway, T&T, Real Canadian Superstore, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, A&W, McDonald's, liquor stores, and various dining options.

The property's amenities were as described. The open space at the entrance was organized and is a good treat during hot summer days. Despite being a basement suite, it was spacious and clean. However, being a basement suite, the stairs going down are quite steep and may not be safe for guests with mobility issues or young kids. Complimentary bottled water was provided in the fridge upon check-in, which was a nice treat. The property host was easy to contact and were very accommodating, especially when we had to add a guest and when we asked to check in a bit earlier, the process was seamless. Something to work on maybe, is to ensure that supplies are adequately stocked, such as paper towels, trash bags, and laundry soap (not that everyone needs this but is handy in case somebody has to do laundry as it is written in the rule book that it is provided). Overall, it was a pleasant experience for us even for just an overnight stay. Will most likely book again in the future.

This is a basic rental with basic amenities and is great if you're just looking for a budget-friendly place to crash for a few nights. We were impressed by the cleanliness and the outdoor space that was created right off the back door. Just a short drive away, you can hike on the trails of Nose Hill Park and catch the beautiful sunrise! Providing bottled water at check-in was a nice touch. I would not recommend this place if there are any mobility issues or young children. The walkway to the back gate is raised without any safety barrier to the driveway, which is about a 3 foot drop. The stairs heading to the basement are also a bit steep and shallow. We had a couple of near misses with the bottom step. There seemed to be open communication with the hosts leading up to arrival, and there was even an invitation to contact them if we wanted further help or suggestions; however, when we couldn't find an iron or ironing board, which was an advertised amenity, we inquired and received no response. We ended up purchasing an iron and otherwise would have brought one from home as we knew we had multiple items to iron before an event. The listing is clearly for an entire place stating, "You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" but note the finer print describes this as a basement suite. We were willing to let this slide, but I think it's worth mentioning in case you make the same error in missing the details.
