One of the most popular apartments at Abbey del Sol. Located on the third floor this airy, sunny apartment has huge windows that let in a refreshing cross breeze. Relax on your spacious private balcony overlooking the sparkling blue pool and lush garden; the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and meals. The balcony is partially shaded but has lots of sun if you want to relax in the loungers to read or sunbath. This is one of our larger apartments; spacious, comfortable, and well maintained with a king bed covered with 500 thread count sheets. Well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops. Free Wi-Fi, bikes, and a large flat-screen TV. Linens supplied.

The Abbey del Sol property has 7 comfortable apartments. Rent individually for couples and small families or in combination for groups and large families. Short walk or bike ride to town and stones throw from the beach. Small crowds on the beach on the weekend, but had the beach to ourselves Monday and Tuesday minus someone walking by every hour or so. First time in Puerto Morelos and was surprised at the amount of restaurants to choose from. Can say many meals were excellent and no meal was poor at any of the establishments. Love the bikes onsite, beach chairs, pool chairs and beach towels. Yoga class onsite in the morning a bonus! Already booked for January.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Even though we arrived after 6pm, Jin was there to welcome us and get us settled in to our apartment. The website photos of Abbey del Sol are accurate and the unit was just as expected. The large private balcony is a real plus (and there are electrical outlets if you want to plug in a computer or radio). The kitchen had everything we needed, including a new fridge. The unit has satellite TV (with limited channels), a DVD player and very good wifi. The available bicycles are great for getting around PoMo. The beach is a short one block walk (there is a public boardwalk access and also Unico Beach Club nearby). The onsite staff is just great. Mariela is always so welcoming and helpful (restaurant recommendations, calling a taxi, etc). The property is well maintained, quiet and feels safe. I would definitely stay here again, or at one of the other local properties managed by Abbey del Sol.

The apt was well appointed and comfortable. The availability of beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, beach bags and towels is a great "extra" perk that you don't see elsewhere. The staff is so nice and accomodating. We are looking at staying again possibly next summer. It is a bit of a walk into the square, maybe 8 blocks, but nothing most couldn't do. Just something to know for anyone with mobility challenges.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Abbey del Sol properties in the past and Apt #11 did not disappoint, it was perfect for my wife and myself. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was so refreshing. The entire staff were friendly and courteous. Abbey del Sol and the properties they manage truly are a "home away from home".

Great time at Abbey del Sol

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Abbey del Sol for the first time in March 2023 for 2 weeks. We had a tour in 2019 and decided to book for 2023. We were very pleased with the overall villa and amenities especially the bikes. We rode everywhere and they were especially great when getting groceries. Our unit 11 was large, bright and clean and was very well equipped. We loved the traditional Mexican decor. The folks in the office were always pleasant and very helpful. Mariela helped me and booked a pedicure with a local esthetician and it was the best pedicure I ever had. We love Abbey del Sol. See you next March!

Love This Place!

The bed is very comfortable (as are all beds at Abbey Del Sol), the kitchen/living area is big and bright, and the terrace is huge! Our only complaint — it’s booked from year to year and we can’t get back in 🙁.
