The host was very responsive, which was the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, several issues made the experience disappointing. The kiddie pool was closed for our entire trip despite staff repeatedly saying it would reopen, and the remaining pools were so overcrowdedâdue to guests from other hotels being allowed inâthat it felt unsafe and not worth the resort cost. The main elevator (#1) was also down for our whole stay, making it difficult to haul everything for five people to the far-side elevator every time we came and went.The suite lacked essentials: only a few paper towel sheets, almost no tin foil, no scissors, and no kid-friendly dishes. Some utensils trapped water in their handles which is a hygiene concern, the coffee pot had old coffee left in it, and the non-stick pans were frustrating to use and clean. Cleanliness was below expectations: we found other peopleâs hair in the sheets and face cloths, mould in the top of the steam shower and red mildew at the bottom (which didnât function at all so dont get excited at the body sprays), and the washing machine gasket had rusty earrings, gum wrappers, and a large hairball inside. The tops of the washer and dryer were also very dusty. Overall, great communication from the host, but the conditions and amenities were far from what we hoped for.I would have only left 2 stars, but Jonathan was very responsive so a reluctant 3 stars is where I am landing.
