Great location and well furnished. Dean (owner) was super accommodating as well. My wife and I very much appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed walking around the area. There’s a great little Italian restaurant around the corner - I believe it was Amano’s
. The service there was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in Chicago.

Bigger than you think.

First time in Chicago with the family (2 adults, 2 kids). The location seemed good (it's great), but the apartment seemed little, but like it could do for people mostly looking for a place to sleep.Turns out it's bigger than expected. It's also close to the subway, 30 minutes easy ride to downtown. The neighbourhood is awesome. I'd like to live there if I moved to Chicago.The only problem we had was there wasn't a double futon anymore, but Dean and Diane were helping with a queen size inflatable mattress. That's all we needed.I recommend this place. Great deal too.

3 day 2 night getaway

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for a long weekend. We had a good time, the amenities are great, the neighborhood is wonderful, and the hosts were hospital! The furniture is for smaller framed people, but everything was in great shape and we enjoyed our stay!

Nice place, great location!

Everything was easy about our stay. Easy check in, Dean was responsive, street parking available and close proximity to great Chicago neighborhoods. This garden apartment was spacious and comfortable, very clean and orderly and nicely furnished. We enjoyed our stay!

The Damen Stop was absolutely lovely! The apartment was clean and cozy and exactly what we needed. The walk from there to the brown line was super convenient (and nice to walk around when the weather was nice:) and helped us get everywhere we needed to. Dean and Diane are fantastic hosts and I’d stay here again if I ever came back to Chicago!

Awesome stay!

Perfect stay! Listing was accurate. Owner was in contact about an hour after we booked. Check in was as easy as him texting door code. Property was super clean. Bathroom newly remodeled and modern. Pics are accurate. This is a great location with many walkable restaurants and bars. It felt very safe and we walked all around at night and felt great. Walkable or easy uber to Wrigley. Many families, people jogging, walking their dogs. Very friendly neighborhood. Bed was comfy. Apartment is in basement but this is a solid house, we never heard any noise upstairs outside! Slept great! Plenty of amenities, coffee, a few bottles of water, hotel style soaps and shampoo. 5 star! Next time we in Chicago we will be back!

Fantastic place in great neighborhood

Very nice place to stay for a few nights in Chicago. It is located in a great neighborhood with quick access to the Brown line and local restaurants. The apartment is very clean, very well-equipped, spacious and quiet.

Great little getaway

Great location for plans at Wrigley, able to walk there and back, or catch the Brown Line into downtown for other adventures. Great restaurants in the neighborhood too. The apartment had everything we needed, was easy to access, safe and comfortable. I will definitely remember this place next time I’m in Chicago. Thank you!

PERFECT!!!!

This apartment is just lovely!!! It has a keypad entry and the space is just perfect for a long weekend away. The bedroom is VERY dark to sleep in (my favourite) and ceiling fans in the kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom is super cute and I loved the waterfall shower head. Towels were fluffy and there were SO many. We didn't use the washer/dryer but there is one available but bring your own tabs/detergent. The neighbourhood is super walkable and close to public transportation (Brown line - 7 min walk, 50 bus right across the street). My husband was attending a conference at the Old Town School of Music and it was a 12 minute walk. We ate at Lou Malnati's and Il Milanese both have lovely patios and are right around the corner. We were thrilled with this location and the whole neighbourhood. Would definitely stay again!!!! Thank you Dean and Diane!!!!!

The apartment was fantastically located near Wrigley Field. The only reason I have a 4-Star review was because of the sofa! Seriously the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat upon! Hosts were wonderful and communicated everything!

Wonderful, Safe Little Haven in Chicago

Dean and Diane were wonderful hosts. The location was safe and close enough to all of the major attractions. Public transit is awesome! There’s a bus stop less than a minute walking from the doorstep and entrance to the metra is about 8 minutes walking. Perfect! Clean, cozy, and considerate accommodations. Would stay again!
