The room and view were super nice. Even with not being on the waterfront side of the build we werent disappointed. Check in staff could be nicer but the bar staff was excellent. Nice and informative for travelers. The pier was i. Walking distance. Food and shopping all around and spotless insude and out. Really enjoyed the stay

The property was in a great location! Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms felt a bit outdated, but still comfortable. However, my city view was a building view blocking the city view. I would not consider this a city view. Also, I had to call to ask for housekeeping services multiple times during the day, in order to get it done. However, my main complaint is the amount of towels that they would leave on a daily basis. I paid to have 4 people in the room, but I could only have 2-3 bath towels and only 2 scrub towels due to shortage. I am paying for these services for 4 people, but was not allowed to have 1 towel per person?

Beautiful view of fireworks over Lake Michigan

Very kind valet staff, even when only unloading and choosing to self park. They helped take our things out of the car and bring them to our room. The room had a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. We were able to watch the Wednesday night fireworks from our room! There was a great walkway right on the lake across from our room. It was a great location to the riverwalk and many restaurants. The room was quite small, and there was not a microwave and there was a very small fridge with no freezer space. We were surprised to learn that our room shared a wall with the elevators, so roughly every 30s-1min there was loud whooshing and clanging noises, all day and all night. The bathroom was very small and the bathtub/insert was dingy due to age and wear. The hotel had signs up saying they were in the midst of remodeling various bathrooms. Be that as it may, the floor tile was cracked and missing strips of grout. The sink was very small and did not drain well due to it’s shallow square bowl. It was pretty worn as well. The towels were not the fluffy fresh kind you hope to find at hotels. They were a little rough and did not dry well. There was nearly no options for purchasing onsite other than a fancy bar/restaurant area, and a small and not varied snack room. They do not offer breakfast. There was a room service dept, but we did not purchase anything. There is no coffee really available. The gym was very nice and had a lot of different equipment. There is a pool as well. GREAT VIEWS!

This property needs upgrading not worth is prices being charged. The bathroom was bad and rooms are small. Best to put effort in shinning the property with proper investment.

Would stay again. It was a very busy weekend there which may have made the service at the bar slow but my husband never got waited on so he left.. that was during the day. Room was clean and we were able to check-in two hours early despite how busy and crowded everything was due to air and water show which was very appreciated.

I guess based off the location I had higher standards. The staff member that checked me in didn’t inform me of any of the amenities; no pool hours, bar hours, WiFi password, not where the elevators were located I asked how much was parking he stated $80 a night and when I got to valet they said it was $86 a day. They Only have valet so there is no going to your car after it’s parked. I thought the remote wasn’t working because the top buttons wouldn’t let us navigate with them. We were told the top buttons don’t work on the remote. They did not have smart TVs so no logging into any streaming apps just their limited channels. There was nothing in the room with restaurants or bar room service options or ordering ahead. The phone was under the television with no light nearby it was extremely dark on that side of the room to where I couldn’t see the options to reach the front desk. When I reported this to the front desk a male told me that it should be on that side of the room so a technician came to the room and said that side does not have a light but he could bring me a lamp. The front desk was understanding of my frustration and gave me a $50 restaurant credit. The restaurant food was pretty but flavorless and bland. Needless to stay I left after my first night instead of staying the full 3 days. U wanted to be close to the beach but that didn’t work out. I have stayed in better hotels downtown compared to this one.

Pros: What we liked was comfortable beds. Although, they are Almost too small for two people. The Water pressure in the shower was excellent. It is a Busy place. We also enjoyed the short walk to Navy pier. Con’s: What we didn’t like was the cleanliness of our room. There was dust and dirt on the top of the water tank on backside of toilet. Crumbs on the window sill and our nightstands. The fridge smelled terrible and we didn’t even want to put our leftovers in it, so we just ended up throwing them away. The price for parking was outrageous and we were unaware of additional cost of parking. We ended up parking in a different parking garage down the road and had to walk back to our hotel and room.
