Hotel is in a bit so great neighborhood. We were leery of leaving our luggage in the room when we went out. There were mystery stains on the ceiling and holes on the light shade. The coffe pot sits in the corner of the bathroom next to the toilet. The lounge chair was literally jammed between the bed and exterior wall and looked like it was from the 70s. Room smelled a bit like a wet dog. But with all of that the bedding was at least new and clean and the room did get the job done. But the photos and other reviews make this place sound much nicer than it is. Was not expecting anything fancy as we knew it was a mid tier to low tier hotel price. But it was definitely a let down from the moment we approached the parking lot from the street.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh, hot, and on time. Coffee was great. Liked the in room refer and micro and coffee pot. Iron and board were GREAT. I used ALL. bed and linens were great. Parking was a bit of a challenge. I drive bigger vehicle and so does everyone else.! The Lot is Tight and if you find parking you might not be able to get out! Maybe unload first. Staff was excellent, helpful and very willing to make me feel welcome, safe and happy. Traveling alone as Senior female, the above was important to me. I like that, while I knew it was not the newest , the Inn was small enough property for me to manage, they do have an elevator. and an all night staffed lobby.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Most places are within walking distance or less than 10 minutes drives. The area was very quiet, other than people reving their engines at the stop light. I've stayed here several times over the past three years and I haven't had any major problems with the place. Breakfast options aren't terrible, but I can't really give full details since I usually go to get apple juice, tea, waffles and whatever protein option is a available. Overall, I enjoy the stay. House keeping is also very good about cleaning the rooms daily.

We were attending a conference about a mile away. Hotels.com has very few properties in Chula Vista. This was the closest to the conference site. I thought it was a 2.5 star property but when we arrived, it clearly is only a 2 star. No worries. The breakfast eggs are beyond imagination. I don’t know how they're created, but it clearly is not on the premises. The yolks are all flattened into the egg whites. The egges haven't changed since the last time we stayed at a Quality Inn some 9 years ago.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The property looked nothing like the photos online. It was old, outdated, and filthy. The room was disgusting, with stains on the carpet and bed baseboards, and there were gaps on the doors over half an inch wide. The surrounding area also felt unsafe. I checked out within 5 minutes of arriving and had to drive 4.5 hours back to Los Angeles, completely exhausted. This place deserves negative five stars. My trip turned into a nightmare because of this experience.
