The first room we had looked like the floors weren't even cleaned at all in the bathroom, stains on the carpet, and had a bad smell. The pool looked murky and as I'd it was not cared for. Very disappointed for a Hilton chain.

The check in staff and procedures were very pleasant and efficient. Once in my room (205) the bathroom had a very strong smell (urine). I went to the desk and ask if it could be sprayed/cleaned. And that did take place while we were out for the evening. The following day, after hours of sightseeing, we came back to find that the room had been cleaned, but we were given no towels, washcloths or hand towels. None. We had to go back to the front desk to ask for those items and they were later brought to our room. The hotel was a great location for the Indians baseball game, but the services rendered were very lacking. This was a very “average/below average” hotel.

Room location beside elevator shaft. Everytime people used it sounded like a 747 taking off it was a constant issue

That it was downtown was great. Rooms furnishing needs updated. Old scared furniture. Paying $170.00 expecting higher quality.

Overall everything was great, as described. However, I called the hotel the night before my check in. I wanted to try to add a night, I would've been able to get there early. I called around 10:00pm, Cleveland time. I was put on hold and when he took me off hold after 5 mintues, he asked for a confirmation #. I asked if an itinerary # would work & he was kind of annoyed, asking for that number and then telling me that wouldn't work. Then he asked for my name, looked it up & said I can't alter your reservation because it's a third party reservation. I understand, however, why couldn't he offer to book a room, figure out a way to not lose a paying customer or even give me the phone number I could call to add a night. We ended up stopping sooner (on or drive there) & staying at a different hotel. Besides that phone call, everything was great.
