Beautiful old hotel at the edge of old town. Front desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Bed was very comfortable. Slept like a log. 2 minor issues only. In room coffee maker did not work well but there was complimentary coffee in the hall so it worked out well. Room on the first floor looked out over a parking lot. I would stay again but ask for an upper floor room next time.
Design and surroundings of a rooftop hotel unique and fun. The downside to our stay was the noise from the only high rise working elevator just outside our room running up and down with loud motor and people. The lights in our bathroom flickered on and off like a strobe. Staff got them working when we wanted to sleep and when they left the lights started flickering again. Couldn’t shower or see to shave etc. No acceptable compensation was offered at check out.
