Rough around the edges

Have stayed at Hyatt House for many travel trips. Enjoy the location and amenities near the hotel. It appears that the rooms seem more run-down and not updated. Stained carpeting, unable to slide closet doors, kitchen amenities limited for cooking/need to replace scratched teflon pans, etc. Fine for overnight stays; would not recommend for extended stays.

Excellent Hotel and Staff!

It was wonderful. The gentleman that checked us in was so nice and helpful. The room was great and their breakfast was really good. We have stayed there several times and continue to love it. We tried another hotel on this trip and were very disappointed. That will not happen again. Stay with who you know and who treats you well. HYATT House in East Norriton is that hotel! Excellent!

No power no refund

I took my wife away for the weekend for her birthday. The plan was to shop on Saturday stay overnight and then go to the Philadelphia flower show on Sunday. Terrible winds that whole day in the area went to go check in at 8 o’clock and there was no power at the hotel. Surely not their fault. Found out from people who were sitting in the lobby trying to keep warm and emergency lights on that the power had been out already for almost 6 hours. Front desk completely ignored me trying to check in Lady on the phone speaking Indian ignored me completely. I asked for a refund and they told me to fill out a little piece of paper with my name and information on it. And they would refund me. It is now been a week and I have never gotten my refund. Will call the credit card company.

The property was nice, the front desk night lady wasn’t too friendly but the rest was nice. It was our first time staying at Hyatt House; for a family that owns a time share and stays typically on resorts I have to say the room was very accommodating for my large family! We enjoyed the stay. The breakfast could have tasted better. We mainly ate the bagels as the cooked food seemed rushed. Overall good experience though. I’d possibly stay again if I was vacationing in Philadelphia.
