My only issues were that neither my husband, son or I saw the bit about paying for additional bedding for the living room pull out. If you advertise it as holding four people then there should be bedding my for four people! To come in late and find no bedding for my son was ridiculous. One other thing - directions for the towel warmer and boiler would have been helpful. And one last thing - hooks on back of bathroom door
Good location at the end of the Royal Mile, right beside the Scottish Parliament buildings, steps from Holyrood. A lovely assortment of cookies, tea and coffee were waiting for us on our arrival. As soon as you go through the gate, garbage was strewn everywhere. Perhaps because renters are required to walk all of their garbage a block up the road and search for the dumpsters. You never speak to the host directly, only to third party, Joivy, who issues a Boarding Pass which could not be accessed on an iPhone 16. Bedding for the sofa bed was at an additional cost of 28. The stench coming out of the dishwasher was horrendous and lingered far too long.
The apartment was easy to find. There was a key in the lockbox and the host sent a code for us to obtain it for entry to the apartment. We even got to check in a little early! The place was very clean, and we were met with a welcome goody box. Everything worked well in the apartment, it was spacious and could comfortably sleep 4 people. The host was very good at communicating promptly, which I appreciated as an international traveler. The only complaint I have is that there were only two rolls of toilet paper available, but we just stopped by the store to get some more. Would recommend this to family and friends!
So I was looking for a place that wasn't in the true hustle and bustle heart of the city but m also wanted a place we could walk every where to. Thanks was that place! Down the corner you have the parliament building and holyroodhouse palace which was great and Arthur's seat was not far either. Calton Hill was also really close by and walking down the royal mile.was super close too. The stay itself was clean and instructions were clear. The most messaged back right away which is a plus too. Bed was comfy and right next to it is a radiator plus central heating which is good. The shower was superbly.hot.which was great. The only tiny thing.is there was so conditioner.for our hair but that's such a minor thing. The bed is really good for two people and is comfy. I would def recommend this stay if ur looking for room and comfort.
The apartment is in a great location (just down from the Royal Mile), and is roomy for a couple of people. The bed was very comfortable, and if needed, there is a pullout couch to sleep additional people. The apartment was professionally cleaned prior to our stay, and the key pickup was a very short distance away. I would stay here again if I was ever in Edinburgh.
