"The staff were pleasant and courteous, from the management, front desk, kitchen staff and housekeeping. The room was clean and well maintained (no rusting bathroom fixtures here nor peeling wallpapers or pilling carpets.) All the appliances were working in the room, like the coffee machine, A/C unit and hair dryer that I used. The elevators were both working during our 4 day stay. One of my complaints is that TV has no smart features, meaning you can't cast from your phone to watch your own streaming service as the TV we have in our room was very basic. Another off putting thing is that they use paper plates for their breakfast buffet service. I just hope that this wouldn't make the rest of the hotel guests (none of them native English speakers) would think that all hotels in the US would have their guests use paper plates. But I would still say this the place was very clean and very quiet and the service was excellent. "

"Best Value in NYC. Parking garage next door was very convenient, China Town in the area definitely worth exploring and shopping for local treats, dining and gift shop. nice staff, you get what you pay for but it was all around best value. will be our first option when in town again. "

"The shuttle was a little difficult to find when I arrived at EWR—this was my first flight into EWR and I arrived late (the train was inexplicably not operating); consequently, when I inquired about the shuttle I was directed to “P4” via the airport train. The latter issue I already addressed. The former, however, was arguably the most difficult part. I am hearing impaired—I heard “B4.” Once that was remedied, the shuttle service was spectacular and the driver was courteous, drove safely, and provided useful information about how to navigate the train/subway system to NYC. Though the hotel is ‘close’ to the airport, rest assured the shuttle service is the best (and my preferred) option (unless one is inclined to use Uber on-demand instead) because it was safe, reliable, and informative. The hotel is adjacent to a busy highway, but don’t let that fool you—once inside the building the noise was nullified. The grounds surrounding the hotel were clean and fenced with a gated entry. Though I was absent of a vehicle, I would have been confident that my vehicle would have been safe and secure. Inside the building I found all the public spaces to be clean and provided comfortable amenities. I would also wish to extend an emphasis regarding the cleanliness of the interior spaces including my room—If all else falls apart, cleanliness is the one category which would make or break a stay in a hotel, especially in our post-pandemic world. Hats off to the housekeeping staff!!"

"I had an unexpected layover at the Newark airport and a weary traveler came to the hotel at 3 AM in the morning I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful front desk experience. She treated me like a VIP. Please know that the personal touch is always welcome."
