This place far exceeded my expectations. We had a room in the last, back left building. GREAT views! The rooms are immaculately clean. The grounds are HEAVENLY. Every inch has been cared for and nurtured. Green grass, flowers galore, even a tiny hiking trail with amazing views. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever felt. We had the best nights sleep. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would LOVE to visit again.

We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot. The view was beautiful. You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).

Beautiful location

This hotel is older, but the location is amazing and the views are stunning. We were only here for one night but I was able to enjoy the balcony view off our room. When booking it is definitely worth paying a little extra for the view, however, there is no elevator so if you have mobility issues it might be a problem for you? The rooms are older but very large and roomy. The beds were comfortable and had a refrigerator and coffee pot. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others!

Above and beyond

We've stayed here 10 years ago and liked it then. This time its even better than i remember. Comfortable bed, beautiful view of river and grounds, lotsa outdoor seating areas and great kitchen with everything you'd need. Very well appointed place that was immaculate in every respect. Oh, I almost forgot the binoculars and bird book. This morning we saw 6 Turkey vultures right outside the window. Enchanting stay.

One of the best family owned stays I’ve had in a decade. I am well travelled and this small family owned hotel is a gem! Well kept, clean, friendly, amazing views and grounds. Once upon a time this was an old school roadside motel, now with a variety of room choices. Great river view from our private balcony. A definite will stay again! I rarely rate any hotel 5 stars. This may be dated in same ways, but the y keep things very clean and preserved. And even the bedding was good! And a shout out to the maintenance, gardening and maid staff! You all do better than most other hotels out there!!!

Property is fine, clean, nice shower and bathroom. We heard traffic from I84 all night! I would recommend asking for a room as close to the river as possible to decrease traffic noise.

The highlight was the staff. From the check-in to the staff going around cleaning and helping. They were all genuinely kind and interested. The room was big and clean and comfortable.
