My room was stinky (smelled like tobacco) and dirty (pieces of small trash behind chairs, behind nightstand, and inside nightstand drawers). The television was a TUBE TELEVISION from the 1990's. Small food pieces were ground into the worn-out carpet -- walking in bare feet felt really gross, so I needed to walk around in shoes to feel clean. The mattresses were lumpy and worn out. I was so miserable. I feel like I was taken advantage of and misled, because they knew they could fill the hotel for CES. Although it is hard to tell from the strip and from the brochures, they put a lot of their guests -- suckers like me -- in one of four low-rise, old, worn-out buildings that are across an alleyway from the main part of the hotel. They should be ASHAMED of what they put their guests through in those low-rise tenements -- they are old and ratty and only suitable for truckers at best.

When I checked in, the hotel staff informed me that my Travelocity reservation was only good for a room in the "backlit" motel style rooms. I then was subjected to a hard upsell for one tower at $25 more per night, or the better tower for $35 more a night. $125 later (plus taxes, resort fees, air rental, etc.) I got my keys. The room was acceptable, but shabby. The veneer on the desk was peeling off, the curtains we're dangling off their hangers at the ends, and the WiFi service did not work the first two nights. I accept that Circus Circus is one of the more rundown sites on the trip, but I was disappointed by the combined service from Travelocity and the hotel.

I don’t know where on me purchasing the hotel or on my reservation is stated that my stay will be split in two different reservations which at check in they told me I would stay one night in one area of the hotel, and the next night in a different location. They told me it would be an additional $7 fee for me to stay in one room for my two night stay. After I chose to stay at the Manor area of circus circus, house keeping had not cleaned my room when I arrived. One of the workers was kind enough to change our room down the hall. Once we got settled the water did not work for the shower or sink. The room also was very run down down and the sheets had stains. We called the front desk where they said they would upgrade our room for the inconvenience. At last we were able to have a clean room with working water. Thankfully after all the room swapping the stay was pleasant thanks to their very kind and helpful staff.
