So very sad to continue to watch a beloved place to me just rot away. A comfortable clean room and good hospitality is sadly a thing of the past. No valet service or bellhops to be found, room had spiderwebs, dirty comforters that seemed like wadded up sheets , lumpy pillows , cracked and missing bathroom tile grout, old small TV, mini fridge inoperable. During our stay it started raining and water came pouring in throughout the casino as a matter of fact our dinner plans were cancelled because the restaurant had a few inches of water on the floor. Best wishes as I would really love to see this town bounce back but it's going take a miracle

Still Love the Golden Nugget

I enjoy staying at the Golden Nugget. My rooms are usually super clean and comfortable. Just a couple things this time. There was food left in the fridge that the housekeeping did not remove. Also, the TV would not work. Wallpaper appeared to be peeling off the wall.

Start by saying hotel staff was top notch, casino was fine, hotel restaurants were great. Room was unfortunately dirty, stains on sheets and comforter which the staff did take care of. Bathroom tub and sink were stained and rusty, room smelt rough. All that being said it's on the cheaper end of hotels so I feel like I got what I paid for.

Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were at the casino for only one night, so not really important, but the television channels did not work. Also pee spots were on the toilet from previous occupants, not cleaned properly.

The room have no hot water for 10 hours .. they also made a mistake and tried to check me out of my room a day earlier, it was embarrassing and it was all a mistake they did. It was horrible. Staff nocked in my door around 1am, for no reason other than they wanted to make sure my pet wasn’t alone. Horrible experience. Never staying here again.

Bathroom sink , rusty , old & drainage needs to be fixed and napkin holder in the bathroom was filthy . This is unacceptable. Front desk clerk who assisted us on check in & check out had an outstanding customer service . The person who helped us with our luggages valet/ bell person when we checked in was very helpful . We enjoyed the scenery with the waterfalls & the Salt Grass steak house .
