Great location and nice place

This 2 bed/2 bath condo it was very nice, clean and very confortable.Easy access to all the great areas of Lisbon. Confortable beds.Enought room for two couples. Overall both of us enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.Planning on returning soon.

Right in the heart of historic Lisbon

Our stay was comfortable and convenient! This property was well-stocked and comfortable for relaxation and for planning our next adventure in Lisbon. Though we were right in the heart of the historic district it never felt too noisy — just very lively and active. So many things within walking distance! We loved it! No problems with check-In or management. We took advantage of the option to order the breakfast package to be in place when we arrived — so much food and so appreciated and needed. I would stay here again!

Be careful if you stay here…

I was very excited to be staying in Alfama and the apartment matched what I was expecting. The area it is in is not safe though. My mom was pick pocketed steps from the apartment which could happen in any tourist area but then the apartment was broken into and cash and electronics were taken. The building and apartment door use a code to enter which seems convenient but I do not think the codes are changed often enough. Lastly, we were staying for a week so I was hoping we could get fresh towels since they instruct you not to use the washing machine but that cost extra and had to be reserved 24 hours in advance. Based on our experience, I will be staying in a hotel rather than a Vrbo the next time we visit Portugal.

A nice place, but..

The apartment was as described, clean and accessible. We did have a couple of concerns: We noticed a couple of times when we returned to the building that the front door hadn't closed properly and wasn't locked. As it turns out, we were robbed the morning we were checking out - all my ID and money. When I phoned to tell the company they said they would phone me back but they never did. This lack of follow up was disappointing on a very stressful day. Also, on our second evening, we were happy that the company was so responsive when we let them know that we had no internet. They said they would follow up but did not and so, when they sent someone to help with the internet (again, happy for that part) we did not answer the intercom because we were not expecting anyone. The person was able to let themselves into the apartment on their own when we didn't open the door. It was creepy to see the door knob turning and not know what to expect. So, hard one to review for me - nice apartment but communication at critical times was poor.

Super séjour dans un appartement très agréable et très bien situé

La localisation est parfaite pour découvrir Lisbonne. L’appartement est calme malgré le tram qui passe juste au pied et très bien équipé. La procédure de Check in et out à distance permet une arrivée et un départ en toute liberté. Très pratique quand on a des horaires de vol très tôt.

Emplacement idéal

L’appartement est très bien placé , le fameux tramway 28 au pied de l’immeuble. Proche de tout ( visites, commerces et transports) et dans un quartier authentique de Lisbonne. Tout est faisable à pied. Il est très moderne et très bien équipé. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement. Les deux salles de bain bien appréciées. Nous n’avons pas eu de contact direct avec les gérants, mais le check in est bien détaillé et les informations claires pour accéder à l’appartement. Cela n’a pas été gênant pour nous. Nous recommandons cette location.

Clean and Modern Apt in Great Location

My wife and I thorough enjoyed our stay. The modern apartment has everything you need to enjoy the same comfort you have at home, and is a short walking distance to the sites of historic Alfama. Highly recommended!

Great stay in Alfama

We had so much fun exploring Lisboa and this was a great headquarters for our adventures. Pro: right next to a stop on the popular Cable car 28 route. Con: we did hear the cable car frequently. Luckily shutting the windows really shut out the sound.
