Firstly I need to say that I have stayed at this hotel before, and the reasons I have gone back are multiple - the very kind and friendly staff who all seem to have excellent memories for previous clients; who attend to all I need without any hesitation; cleanliness without exception; the large lounge bar where space enough to have meetings in private; meals available in the bar without having to go to the large restaurant; more than enough choice for breakfast in the restaurant; taxis available very quickly; near enough to the life of Lisbon without the noisy hubbub and also as a solo traveller, the very important feeling of safety! - A huge thank you to all at Sana Metropolitan!

I would stay here again for the price, it’s reasonable and it includes breakfast. Shopping area is about 20mins walk. If you are just looking a place to stay it’s a great option. This hotel might have been built years ago but I think the up keep is well. Front desk staff can be more welcoming like those at morning buffet restaurant.

The hotel upgraded our room and the breakfast was delicious but this hotel is far from the downtown and only convenient if you want to go to the airport.

This is a clean hotel close to the airport. I stayed a night en route to my destination. Very easy to get to the airport. The room was clean and tidy and it is an excellent hotel overall with friendly staff. It was a summer heat wave and though I set the AC to max, it never really went below 26 degrees in the room which was uncomfortable but not worth making a fuss about. If you’re there during the hot season, make sure to check the AC on check in. All around affordable, clean airport-near hotel. The area around the hotel is not especially pedestrian friendly.

Very nice staff and clean hotel. It's a little bit of a walk from the metro/subway and it is not too close to major attractions but there are many good supermarkets within walking distance.
