Located in the traditional Mouraria district, in the center of Lisbon, it is a 2-minute walk from Martim Moniz Square and the nearest metro station. The D. Maria II National Theater is 600 meters away. The space was recently renovated and is located less than 1km from Rossio.

The district of Mouraria is a typical neighborhood in Lisbon being known as the birthplace of “Fado”. It was in Mouraria that Severa, the first Fado singer known in Portugal, lived in the nineteenth century and where Mariza, considered the most international Portuguese Fado singer of the present time, grew up. Mouraria is still the most multicultural neighborhood in the city.

The Praça do Martim Moniz, overlooking the castle, has several fast food kiosks with terraces, as well as commercial and cultural entertainment. In this square exists a terminal of the famous tram 28.

Close to the city centre and all main attractions including the castle.. Dislike was the unsteady steos outside the apartment, loose toilet base which meant the toilet swivelled. Host was very helpful and friendly in providing information on sights and eating amenities.

Great apartment for a night or two

Marco was an excellent host. He was very flexible with our arrival, providing early access to drop our luggage. He was helpful with things to do for our brief stay in Lisbon. The apartment is a small studio, but clean and big enough for two of us. The location is walking distance to many attractions. Great place to stay.

Basic appartment, great location

The communication and check in with Marco were flawless. The location of the apartment is also very good, you are quickly at many sights and the viewpoints of the city. Unfortunately, the apartment was very warm in August and the air conditioning has not really worked to cool it down. In addition, it was quite dark and humid. The bathroom is not for tall people. It was also kinda noisy. Good for a short trip to Lisbon but nothing special.
