The staff and service were awesome. Our initially assigned room had a lot of street noise, and the AC didn't work, requiring opening windows. The front desk staff was great and helped change my room. The second room was much quieter, and the AC worked. The only issue in the second room was the shower drained very slowly, causing a puddle when showering.

The room was mostly great, staff was great and I was able to find ok food walking distance. Room smelled like wet dirty carpet, the AC was being blocked by one of the bunk beds.

This Place Sucks

Awful. I mean, really, really bad. Filthy and Fraying carpet. Only one uncomfortable desk chair in a room with 2 queen size beds. The shower was a joke: no place to put shampoo, soap or razors other than the shower floor. Parking is absurd. We travel a lot and this place needs to be shut down and completely revamped. What a dump.

This was an interesting find, when we wnt to the frknt doors and tried to open them they did not open. I believe we only tried one side saw the key card scanner and assumed we were at the wrong door. Staff inside watched us did nothing. We walked around the building and found a very nice service woman who kindly walked us back to the front door and opened it. Once inside front desk cleark was super kind but seemed scattered. location is great. Parking fee is insane, parking garage is difficult. Community or shared kitchen was weird. Went to check out, waited 10min then decided to call the front desk to get someone up there to check us out still no one came, we left the keys on the counter and we wont be back.

I stayed here for a few days with my newborn and teenager after a long drive, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early without hassle, which was such a relief as a postpartum mom. This was our first trip with baby so anxiety was high! The room was spotless with fresh linens and zero sketchy stains (which I’ve sadly seen at more expensive, popular chain hotels). The shower water pressure was amazing! They have a full kitchen and a laundry room which made traveling with a baby so much easier. The hotel is also in a great location, walking distance to everything from Whole Foods and Target to late night eats like pizza and wings and there’s our favorite latte addiction on the corner if you’re Starbies girl like me. On the flip side there was a faint humid smell in the rooms which is likely due to the climate, but it was easy to overlook. Overall, the environment felt safe, peaceful, and well-maintained. Bonus points for the underground parking with two spots per pass ANDDD street parking if you opt out! Highly, highly, highly, recommend for families, staycations, or anyone needing a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. There’s also an onsite bar that we were able to enjoy for their soft opening. They are opening the restaurant some time in the future and whenever we are in the area we will certainly be returning to this location! Thank you all who welcomed our large party too!

It's located conveniently close to bus stops, with 7-11 and ralphs market nearby. So quite easy to travel to the beach or UCLA/Hollywoods area. The room is clean and tidy, nothing to complain about and at a quite reasonable price.

A great place to stay in the Santa Monica area. Not too complicated to get to the pier, though you’ll need to take public transit or uber. The hotel itself is nice, and clean/tidy. The surrounding area isn’t necessarily sketchy, but can be seen/considered a bit grungy to some travellers. Overall, would recommend staying.
