I recently stayed at Tesoro Los Cabos and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, offering excellent walkability with plenty of shopping, dining, and convenience right at your doorstep. If you enjoy exploring the area on foot, this is an ideal spot to stay. The hotel was well-maintained and clean. My room and common areas were tidy, though some minor details could have been improved. The staff was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. Their service truly made the stay more enjoyable. The property itself is a bit dated and could use some upgrades. While it’s still comfortable, some areas show wear and tear. The location is a big plus. Being near the marina means easy access to great restaurants, bars, and shopping. It’s a lively area, perfect for those who like to explore. Overall, Tesoro Los Cabos is a solid choice if you prioritize location, friendly service, and convenience. While the property could use some updates, the experience is still enjoyable, especially for those who love being close to great food and shopping.

Pros: Yummy buffet breakfast. There was someone to make pancakes, bacon, omelets and French toast if you wanted it. The hotel was right on the marina. Nice and relaxing pool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Cons: The hotel is like a huge maze. Although my room was clean, it was up two flights of stairs, almost in an alcove, kinda spooky when you're walking up to your room, late at night, solo. There are so many 'hustlers' hustling their merchandise on the marina, its hard to relax and people watch. They will constantly come up to you every 30 seconds trying to sell you something. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Tesoro gone from fabulous to downhill (12 stays)

Tesoro wait and bar staff ALWAYS deliver. Such a friendly people which makes us come back plus location. Check in desk on the other hand, the worst!! Many management has changed and many left leaving seeing why. They are rude and one's requests for room floors and buildings were not honored despite making the reservation several months a head of time. Specifically did not want 2nd floor OR the 5th floor with stairs up. Manager Asael (New), made us upgrade to Jr suite (which was not one as have stayed in them) and gave us 5th floor with stairs. The had broken safe that was not attached, One sink clogged with broken fixtures. Upgrade was NOT worth it and management did nothing to fix, accommodate or give back refund. New, caring management needed and GM. Victor Del Campo was the BEST GM. Tesoro management needs complete overhaul and Edgar, new GM need to take action while he still works there.

Couldn’t sleep because of club noise below on east tower marina view. Sounded like the music and beat was in our room till 3AM Also they screwed up our shuttle back to the airport. They apologized but only offered to credit back the amount of the shuttle. Had to get a taxi last minute without thier help smh—-

This hotel was a welcome surprise. It is situated right on the marina boardwalk. Day and night views are spectacular. Rooftop dining is excellent. So many amenities just steps from our room as part of the hotel, yet, very convenient to walk across the street for sightseeing, finding other dining options and general tourist wandering. Would recommend staying here to couples. We had easy walking options with access to restaurants, stores, entertainment.

Right by the ocean, most people staying there you can tell are not locals, walking distance to anything you could want like shopping, dining, water activities. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is a 3/5 it was ok but it’s better to go eat at a restaurant. Overall I would stay here again

Overall great choice with excellent staff

Impressed with thoroughness of the check-in staff, friendliness of all levels of staff when we asked for help, and the amenities, especially pool and 2nd floor restaurant for buffet breakfast. Parking was secure and easy to find. Felt very safe, and happy with location situated around the Marina. Our discounted rate through Hotels.com made this an easy pick for our one night in Cabo. We will return for similar. type of stay

Fantastic location in the Marina You are able to walk to many great restaurants, bars and shopping. Staff was amazing, especially Israel in the restaurant during breakfast. Had wonderful views of the Marina. Unfortunately my room was above restaurants so food odors and music were a bit much, view made up for it.

Tesoro is in a great location for accessing the Cabo San Lucas Marina and nearby downtown shopping, restaurants, etc. Very walkable with plenty to do and see.

Although our room was small it had a large balcony overlooking the marina. Two small chairs and a small table left lots of room for a lounger (would have been nice) as the pool area was busy at times and/ or one just wanted quiet. As well, there was no where to sit in the room except on the bed. Watching the boat and sea lion activity in the marina was fun as where the excursions. Staff were excellent, food was good. Property is nicely situated to take advantage of downtown and local beach.
