Charming apartment in historical building at Glorieta de Bilbao, with the metro station just at the same door of the apartment, only 10 minutes walking to Gran via and 2 minutes to Malasana.

Exceptionally cozy apartment in heart Glorieta de Bilbao , with several subway lines and within walking Bilbao Metro at the door . One step from Malasaña and cueca , and the Gran Via, Paseo de la Castellana , Museums and all interesting places in Madrid .

The apartment has a lounge , kitchen, bathroom with shower and separate bedroom.

Perfect for couples , it can also accommodate 3 people , as the sofa in the lounge converts into a comfortable double bed.

The apartment is located in a historic 1906 building has been completely renovated in November 2013 . It has plenty of natural light and is very quiet , no street noise . It is perfect for those who want to stay fit without going to the gym 4th floor without elevator.

Great location BUT .....

We chose this apartment mostly for the location, close to where our daughter was staying during her semester in Madrid. We knew about the 4th floor/no elevator situation, but with a heavy suitcase it can be quite challenging. I just decided it was good exercise going up and down a few times, it was harder for my husband. The property was clean but not well maintained. Everything was lose, especially in the bathroom (the toilet flush needs fixing!!!). The worst was the bed. Impossible for 2 people to get a good night's sleep (my husband is 6'3"). The mattress is terrible (soft) and very tiny for 2. Every time he turned I thought there was an earthquake. The kitchen was OK. I would have appreciated a hairdryer (they had an iron so why not a hairdryer?). But I guess you get what you pay for. It was quite affordable and right next to a metro station which is very convenient. Customer service was OK however, if you need to check out early (like 7am) be prepared to pay extra! Would I recommend this property: only if they fix the lose stuff and change the bed/mattress.
