We’d stay at Room Mate Alba again with pleasure

Excellent staff, dedicated and friendly. Breakfast better than average. Well located hotel, easy to walk to much of central Madrid. Pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom didn’t have a tub, but the rain & handheld shower wad excellent . All and all we’d be happy to stay here again.

Staff were so amazingly attentive and helpful - front desk staff were top notch and the staff at the breakfast were always so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were super clean and it is a great location for tours and restaurants/bars. We would highly recommend for the staff and location alone!

This hotel was in the perfect location, with everything within walking distance. While the hotel itself only had one restaurant/bar, there were plenty of options withing 5-10 minutes away. The hotel was clean and the staff was amiable and extremely helpful.

The location was absolutely fabulous - round the corner from some really great tapas and wine bars. Walkable to basically everything (depending on how much of a keen walker you are) and felt really safe. We had a superior room which faced the pedestrian-only road and it was lovely. The only issue was that the walls are a bit too thin for our liking (we could hear word for word the conversation of our neighbours next door but luckily we only had neighbours on one side - I think I would have gone insane if we had neighbours on both sides based on how thin the walls are!). Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend this hotel based on the location alone as it really was in a great spot in Madrid!

The location was perfect! I was disappointed in the size of my room as was given the impression that the rooms were much larger. It also has the “half door” shower that seems to be popular in Spain. So I could not get a hot shower. Nice facility though with excellent staff and perfect location. I was able to walk to the Sofia and many nice restaurants.
