Great buffet breakfast. Very pleasant restaurant and bar staff. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable, well air-conditioned (essential with summer temperatures). Lobby was a little tired and could do with some refurbishing. Lots of shopping in the immediate area. Parque del Retiro and Thyssen and Prado museums are walking distance away. The neighborhood where the hotel is located has many retail shops, easy access to metro, bus and taxis, but it is not big on charm or history.

Given the wrong room.

It was a wonderful location. I booked 3 nights with the “vincci” room terrace with a city view. I was given the wrong room my first night because the room I booked was not available. I had to move the next morning to the room I had originally booked. Everyone was very nice, however, I was not compensated for the initial mistake.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel. The staff is excellent, breakfast is worth the price, the bar is great, and the neighborhood has many shopping and dining options. Taxis are readily available.

I'd stay again and again

I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, and it has only improved with age. The staff is terrific—helpful and kind. The amenities are great. They serve an excellent breakfast. The location is perfect, with great restaurants, shopping steps away, and an easy commute to local attractions.
