The whole hotel smelled very strongly of smoke. The room smelled so bad and we noticed they had buckets of scent things under the beds. The wallpaper was peeling off and the room was very dated and run down. It was cheap and that was the only plus side. The smell truly was so bad in the room and also the lobby.

Very clean accommodation and whilst it’s on a busy road - it’s at the back of the lot overlooking a beautiful park so it’s very quiet. They do a nice little coffee and pastry to go in the morning. Very pleasant stay considering I was meant to be in Salem Ma not Salem NH!!

I don’t believe the hotel room we received lived up to expectations. The room was run down and in desperate need of renovation. The wall paper was separating at all the seams and the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted over.

Walked in to a musty smell, dated decor, edges of wallpaper lifting from wall, rusty bathroom light fixture. No wifi password or instructions on how to use the TV.

The Inn is located in a very busy commercial area along Rt. 28, but is set well back from the highway so it is quiet. The staff are welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, furniture was in good condition. The inn is located across the highway from the huge Tuscan Mall with its many shops and restaurants. And there are other good restaurants in the area as well. I even commuted to Boston from here one day since it's less than an hour away - and is far less expensive. than staying in the city. I found the Inn to be reasonably priced and will return again soon as I have for many years when I come to the Salem area.

Nice quiet place tucked into some trees right in the Salem business sprawl area outside the village. Unfortunately some other guests were loud during the night but not the norm; other time here was fine.

A no frills unpretentious place to stay. If you're looking for a quiet inexpensive place to stay, this is it. It's a convenient location. Maintenance is lacking and rooms need some updating. It is what it is. Not a place I'd take my wife, but was good enough for my short stay / business trip. Overall I'd give it 2.5 Stars. Parking was ample, and relatively well lit. Door key was a hassle. An actual key. There was a knack to getting the roon unlocked. First time took me almost 5 minutes. Literally. You gotta wiggle the key just right. Bed wasn't comfortable, at all. Slept poorly. Bathroom us an adventure. The door opens in. Im not a round person. I could just squeeze in between the door and vanity. Water pressure is lacking.
