hotel entrance is tucked away in a very small circular driveway on a street with no crosswalk at the nearest intersection, $45 daily resort fee which consists of a rooftop pool, small gym and a tiny sauna -just add it to the daily room price, construction all over, no room safe, shower with very little water pressure, cheap public restroom toilet paper

Tons of construction everywhere. Not ideal if you are trying to relax. We were also charged a resort fee per night for absolutely no reason. It is not a resort by any means. Room itself was ok but pretty empty for it being a suite, also got to stare at all the construction. Coffee shop out front was convenient but the location isn’t really near much so you will have to drive or Uber.

Our family of six stayed at Smart Brickell Hotel before heading out on a cruise, and it was a great fit for us. The space worked really well for a family our size, which made the stay comfortable and easy. It is not overly fancy or remarkable, but it was clean, pleasant, had a nice view, and was conveniently located for getting to the cruise ports. Overall, it was a solid choice for our pre cruise stay.

The room was nice but there was no shower curtain so water splashed everywhere. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were empty. There was only one small trash can and that was located in the bathroom. There should have at least been one in the main kitchen area and the bedroom. The bed was a full size and not a queen. Upon check in their card reader was not working so I had to pay with exact cash because I was told they do not dispense change. Also my $300 deposit has yet to be returned. I was told 24 hours but it has still not been returned back to my bank account.

The room was nice, spacious, and clean. Location was good. I also enjoyed the cafe across from the hotel's entrance. I wish the room had had some plates and utensils included, that would be my only complaint.
