This place was conveniently close to the beach and a part of downtown Monterey. It was a very quiet area, very private. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very comfy beds, in all it was a very nice place to spend my weekend in Monterey Bay. When I return to Monterey, I definitely will book a room with this Inn.! The front desk was so helpful, very nice, and accommodating. The common areas were kept very clean as well, I definitely would recommend this place.

The location is great, within walking distance of the Point Pinos Lighthouse and Asilomar Beach. The property itself was fine but not anything special. I was glad that I visited during a quiet tourist time - as it was super easy to hear any and all noise in the units next to me.

Just ok

There is no AC which was fine for us but other may not. One of our beds headboard was broken with screws sticking out. That should have been fixed before guess check in. We took off screws and gave to front desk. The plugs were all loose we couldnt charge anything.

I love this retro on the outside, beautiful upgrades in the rooms joint. The jacuzzi is big & perfect. Much appreciated. Park right outside your room. Owners are great! Very friendly.

Overall, the room was average and small. There was a strong chemical cleaner smell upon entering. The toilet had a leaking flush valve that ran all night the first night—I had to shut off the water valve the second night just to sleep. The wall-mounted gas heater made a constant buzzing and clunking noise. The laminate floor had visible gaps, and the bedding was thin—not a proper comforter. At check-in, I was hit with several unexpected fees, including two $30 charges for bringing a dog, which weren’t mentioned on Expedia. For two nights at $628, it felt overpriced and not worth the cost.
