Host was great, apartment looked like the photos, amenities were as expected, and location near Mount Royal canât be beat - cross country skiing and walking 5 minutes away, as well as restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. Would recommend.
Well-located, good clean basic apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.As a family of four with two teenage boys, we definitely appreciated the separate bedrooms, double bathrooms, the air conditioning and the included wifi, as well as the practical kitchen appliances like toaster, electric kettle, and microwave. Note this is not a place with lots of natural light - itâs fine for getting a good nightâs sleep after a busy day out and about, but not a place from which to expect enjoying a view or outside seating.Best parts: good air conditioning, modern clean furniture and appliances, practical location close to Mount Royal Park and the conveniences of the Plateau, very helpful and responsive host.Could have wished for: some appliances not fully installed / tested (hopefully fixed for next tenant), closer parking for our required times, cleaner outside entrance (we happened to arrive on garbage day).
Had a wonderful time at Sam's place. 3br and 2ba was great for a party of 6 plus one baby. Sam even went out of his way to provide us a new crib for our baby. The location is nice. Almost directly in front of Mt. Royal and about a 15 minute walk to the station via a lively pedestrian only boulevard. Plentiful food options around.
The neighborhood and building conditions was poor and below expectations. The unit access had no elevator. The unit had 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms as advertised but that was in approximately 600 square feet. The sinks in the bathrooms were so small that you could barely was your hands. The couch was almost unusable because you would sink below the frame. I have stayed in Montreal in apartment rentals but this was the worst. For the price you could do better in downtown Montreal. This property is not recommended.
