Located in beautiful downtown Nanaimo, this serene seaside property is just steps from Nanaimo's famous Seawall and the Nanaimo Yacht Club. Take a leisurely walk down the Seawall to enjoy parks, restaurants, pubs, shopping, coffee shops and much more.

Furthermore, located on the seawall is a water taxi which takes you for a 10 min ride to Newcastle Island or Protection Island where you can enjoy beautiful hiking, sight seeing and the famous Ding Dock Pub for lunch. If a day trip to beautiful Vancouver is of interest to you, the Seawall also offers a sea plane service that has you in Vancouver within 20min. BCFerries is located 2km from the property and is a convenient service to get you almost anywhere you would like to go.

Our property offers your own self contained accommodation with ocean views and patio.

Our 1 bedroom accomodation is equipped with a very comfortable queen size bed with a memory foam topper ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. Stunning ocean views from your bedroom window are sure to impress. Also, his and her closets provide lots of space to unpack. Included is an 4 piece Ensuite with a beautiful glass shower with an oversized rain shower head and heated tiles.

On the main level you will find a high end gourmet kitchen (for the chef of the family) equipped with new appliances and a gas range stove. Topping the appliances off, you will find 10ft ceiling high kitchen cabinets with a beautiful space to cook in. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need.

To round off the main level living is a hide a bed for additional sleeping room. Our deluxe pull out sofa easily accommodates 2 guests.

Please feel free to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner on the sun drenched patio looking out to the waterfront. Just incase it might be too warm out in our sunny summers, please turn on the air-conditioning!

Completing our level entry main floor is a 2 piece bathroom and a laundry room and a for all your laundry needs!

Spacious, well equipped, great location, outstanding host

The unit exceeded our expectations. Well equipped kitchen with lots of cabinets and counter space. My wife cooked each night we were there. Lot of space overall. Full size washer and dryer. Large walk-in shower plus soaking tub. Lots of counter space in full bath. Also a separate half bath. Bedroom on 2nd floor so if stairs are an issue this isn't for you. However, Bedroom is good size. Lot of closet space and drawer space. Comfortable bed. Sleeper sofa in living room. We had no need to use so can't comment on comfort. Enjoyed the back deck with view of water and nice fresh air flow. Location is easy to get to from Departure Bay where ferry comes in and is close to downtown. Also easy access to Highway 19 and 19A. Parking on street in front. Best part is the host. Responsive, accessible, friendly and caring about guests. Answered our questions no matter how silly they might have been promptly. Highly recommend. Hope you enjoy staying there as much as we did.

Had an amazing stay

Place was great! I loved the kitchen, it had tons of cooking options (pots, pans, slow cooker, etc.) and the place was so clean. It is in a great location to stores and the street is not very busy. We enjoyed sitting out back on the patio every night where you get a bit of a view of the water. Host was great, friendly, and quick to respond. Really glad we chose this place to stay for the week :)

Perfect home away from home

This home is very clean and offers everything you need in the kitchen. The bed upstairs is comfortable. Very relaxing soaker tub and beautiful shower. The location was good for quick access to the hwy to get us off on all of our beach and hiking adventures. We even hosted our local family members for lunch. Overall it was perfect. Perfect location, great space, kind host

We really enjoyed our stay at Brittany's place! She lives right next door and introduced herself to make sure we were settled and comfortable, was helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The place is clean and spacious, and very private. We never needed to drive anywhere downtown, the sea walk path is one block down the road from the house and made it easy to walk to town for food and coffee whenever. Loved the big soaker bathtub and the large kitchen! Thanks Brittany!

Amazing VRBO to call home for 3 nights. The space is just as you see in the pics. Great to have the bedroom on second floor with double closets and an ensuite bathroom as well. Location was prime! We were able to access Nanaimo by foot in less then 15 min. Just a short and lovely walk along the seawall to get just about anywhere downtown for groceries, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping! Great Location

This place is close to everything and has everything you could need! A short block to the harbour front and a 15 minute walk to downtown. We walked it just about every day, sometimes twice to go for brunch or dinner instead of driving and finding parking. It’s also not far from shopping centres, maybe a 10 minute drive. The condo itself was very clean, the heated bathroom floors were a really nice touch (I hate cold feet!), well stocked for linens and kitchen items. So light and bright inside and I can’t say enough good things about it. The host was very easy to get a hold of for anything we needed. If we come back to the island, this is definitely on my short list to come back to!!!
