Staff was very friendly, room was clean. Only wished loft bed had a light switch upstairs or a lamp. Light switch was at the bottom of the stairs

Overall, the property was subpar. We were hoping for more considering that it’s in the Gruene area. However, we had knocks on our door at 2AM, there are no cameras in the area to track for safety, there were no staff on property after 10PM to secure the areas, there were spiders in our bathtub, our toilet didn’t flush, and we had no hot water. There is also no phone in the room to contact the front desk to see about alternate accommodations. However, upon checking in, the service was excellent. Also, I called ahead to see about an early check-in, and they were quick to accommodate. it’s a beautiful area overall, because it’s right by the river. However, the property was also under construction, at the time of arrival, and it was inconvenient, trying to get to the river and walking around with all of the construction going on. Overall, it was nice to have a location that was very close to the Gruene hall. It was only a five minute drive away. Also, we are eternally grateful for the high levels of customer service. We informed the staff of our complaint upon checking out. The front desk employee was very apologetic and listened attentively to our concerns. There are certainly areas for improvement to ensure customers get the service needed for an overnight stay, but they do have quality employees.

Beds were comfy but very squeaky… it was very cold and the blanket offered was to thin. Other than that the stay was ok. The river view was nice. Would like to return in the spring.

We really enjoyed our stay in 121. It had everything we needed and was 4 minutes from Gruene. We will definitely stay here again. PS: the bed is really really squeaky. Thats the only thing we recommend fixing.

Not what we were expecting. We clearly did not get the unit that was in the description! Very basic. Not enough plugs for our electronics. Could hear everything going on in the unit above us (as in waiting for the other shoe to drop!). That said - this would be a good destination for folks with kids headed for some time on the river.

Cute Lodge
Beautiful scenery, and they are working on building improvements. The beds are uncomfortable but I'm picking about that. This is more a lodge than a hotel keep that in mind. I will stay again for sure. The ease of getting to surrounding areas and the property's nice views was worth it for sure.
