Set on a cliff above the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country, the modern Guadalupe Azul by skyhouse has sweeping views of the Guadalupe River and the surrounding landscape. Although shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation are just minutes downstream in Gruene, you may find you never want to leave this bright, airy sanctuary, above the fray of everyday life.

The space
Reaching this gorgeous cliff-side property is like traveling to a new world. As you drive in from Gruene or River Road, everyday cares fall away. Soak in the views from the pool deck, take a dip in the private pool, and catch some rays in the reclining lounge chairs. Or fire up the barbecue for an al fresco meal as the sun sets over the Guadalupe.

The multi-level house makes a carefully crafted design statement, with a stunning exterior and a dramatic interior. Features include a custom teak stump coffee table, Amazonas granite island, a handmade barn door, polished concrete floors, and accents such as high end fans and lighting.

Master Bedroom:
Designed with sophisticated elegance, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and large windows, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom.

Guest Bedroom #1:
Located on the lower level, this bedroom has a king-sized bed and a shared bath.

Guest Bedroom #2:
This bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and a shared bath.

Guest Bedroom #3:
This bedroom has a queen-sized bed on the lower level, plus 2 full mattresses and one twin mattress on the loft floor above, and a shared bath.

Living Room:
Spacious and bright, the main living room has a seating area with a plush sofa, teak coffee table, and two armchairs, along with a flat-screen TV. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the spectacular Guadalupe and Hill Country views.

Kitchen:
Flowing from the living area, the gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances and a wide range of dining and cookware, as well as both bar seating and a full dining table and chairs. Coffee, spices and other essential items are provided.

Other things to note
Early check-in/late check-out policy: We're happy to provide a late check-out if we don't have guests arriving the same day. Likewise with an early check-in, provided we don't have guests departing the same day. Please confirm your request when you receive your access instructions. Even if we can't offer an early check-in/late check-out we are happy to allow you to store your luggage at the house while the cleaning crew is finishing their work.

FAQ about the heated pool:
* extra cost applies. $100 per 24 hours from midnight to midnight
* we require 24 hours notice before turning on the heater
* the pool heater is run by technology and occasionally there is a glitch. If the pool fails to heat because of technology, don't worry, we won't charge you for that day, we will manually turn on the heater, and comp you for the remainder of the day heating the pool
* the maximum pool temperature is 80 degrees, 15-20 degrees above the air temperature, or 20 degrees above the starting water temperature, whichever is less.
* Under normal circumstances the water will increase by 2 degrees per hour, and on cold days it will be less, so on cold days it could take most of the day to reach the maximum temperature. If you are worried about the final temperature the pool might reach based on cold weather and starting water temperature, we are happy to cancel a full day of heating if you notify us before 8pm. We cannot make any refunds once the heating process has started unless technology fails to start the heater as described above.
* under no circumstances should anyone but SKYHOUSE staff touch the pool equipment. Doing so is against our rules and is grounds for termination of your stay, without refund.
