Nice hotel for long weekends and longer stays

This hotel was convenient to where we needed to be in New Orleans. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rates were good, and had decent offerings for breakfast which is always a plus! The rooms were spacious. Our room had a small kitchenette (includes microwave, fridge, small stove, and coffee maker). We found having a fridge and microwave to be extremely useful during our stay. The bathroom was a little small but functional. Our bed was a little bit on the softer side but that's just a preference. Overall it was a nice room with useful equipment, and easy for us to get around.

Overall a great stay. We had some leak issues during an intense thunderstorm and they moved us right away, no questions asked. Some furniture is a bit scuffed up, probably due to the pet friendliness of the hotel (which we didn’t mind!) but the courtyard was lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was kind. We also loved the area—great restaurants within a few minutes walk, calmer than the French Quarter which can get overwhelming and close to the Garden District. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

First of all, the staff was nice and accommodating. That is the best thing I can say about this hotel. The room appeared to be clean until you look closely. The carpet gave the room a stale odor. It looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The furnishings were modern but the bed and duvet covers needed to be replaced immediately. Maid service is only once a week. So for my 5days I had to pickup towels at the desk.

Good value for money. Site and rooms very clean but the rooms are a little tired and the one we had had no natural light. The breakfast was spot on. I do recommend taking your mug from room in the morning as drinks are served in paper cups. Also cutlery from the room would help the environment as you will not use the plastic provided

Nice place to stay

Within walking distance to just about everything. We enjoyed our room, it was clean, and comfortable. An enjoyable space to relax after walking and partying all day. The patio area was also really nice. I couldn’t enjoy the popcorn due to it was self serve and to many hands including children had access to it. Didn’t take the risk.

I would not stay here again.

The room was very spacious with the bedroom separate. The Door to the bathroom was huge and had towel hangers top and mid door, the lower one kept hitting me as a walked in. It was annoying. The drain in the vanity did not work. The lever to make it go up or down was broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. For the positive, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The people were friendly and the food was very good. I spoke with the manager and he was also very friendly. The rest of the staff were competent, but not very friendly, out going. The young man that valeted our vehicle smelled of cigarette or pot, which made our car smell. The valet guys were also not the friendliest. For what you pay for it, you would think they would be.

We appreciated the basketball hoop and outdoor courtyard with covered area and fire pit. The breakfast was only a couple clicks better than what you find at chains with hot options. Son appreciated the pancake machine and nutella packets. "Scrambled eggs" every day with tortilla and "taco toppings" with rotating meat option. Based on the hotel description, we were expecting a little more flare in the food options. Our room on Tchoupitoulas St was really noisy on Saturday night until 2-3am -- loud, bass-y cars stopping regularly at the intersection. Made for a rough start to our trip. Unfortunately, the St. Charles street car was not operating the week we were there. About a 13 minute walk to French Quarter, though. Very convenient to WWII museum. Rooms are cleaned only once a week, which is nice until you run out of soap, but the front desk was helpful, always.
