The property is perfectly located in the heart of the French Quarters for easy access to great restaurants, entertainment, tours, and shopping. The staff was excellent, from the doorman (Caleb) to the bellmen (Malcolm and Jacob) and front desk (Bishop and Chantelle)! Some spots could use a bit of an upgrade - e.g., the showers - but I still recommend this Bourbon Street gem.

We booked a Bourbon St King, as we have been to Nola numerous times, but had never stayed right in Bourbon. I cant recommend it more - with some earplugs in, sleep wasnt a problem. The Jazz Playhouse is the arguably the best little place to watch jazz in the city. Desire oyster bar offered great drinks and chargrilled oysters (go see Kiki at the bar!), and Restaurant R'Evolution was the icing on the cake - excellent fine dining experience ...really, you could come to New Orleans and spend the entire trip at the hotel, and still have an excellent time. The bed was also very comfy. I'd highly recommend this place, and I would be hard-pressed to stay anywhere else again!

I was staying on the third floor. Since I don't have acess to the other floors because of the key only allowed me there. (WHICH IS FINE, I ONLY SAY THIS BECAUSE I COULDN'T COMPARE TO THE OTHER FLOORS). The third floor always smelled like food. Wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I enjoyed the hotel but in the future I would never stay on Bourbon St. The noise at night in my room was unbearable and I could not get any sleep. Other than Jell-O shots and hurricane specials, there was not a normal place nearby other than Hermes where you could have a quiet glass of wine and not spend a fortune on dinner.

I was left w/ no toilet paper for 2-1/2 hours, even though I spoke w/ a gentleman on the phone, a house keeper in the hall and left a message…. I finally found another house keeper that finally brought us some. House keeping had been in the day before and left us w/ no extra rolls.

This hotel is amazing and conveniently located on Bourbon Street! I have stayed here 3 times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. This visit I did go check out the pool and I loved it. It’s a beautiful pool and they offer pool side drinks.

I didn't like the extra charges nightly rate of almost 30 a day . I didn't like the fact that our room had a view to an abandoned building . Then the guess services was not helpful and not knowledgeable of a pizza place that was not even part of the hotel telling us that we can go there and use the voucher we had from the hotel and we went and couldn't use it the guy from the pizza shop said thar they were not affiliated with the royal Sonesta . I was very disappointed since I've been to this hotel a couple of years ago and it wasn't like that at all .

Wonderful, classy hotel. We got a room facing the back courtyard and it was quiet. But the hotel is in tue middle of Bourbon Street so neighborhood is crazy noisy and busy. Don’t miss the Jazz band in the hotel’s club. It’s excellent.
