The hotel staff was helpful from beginning to end. I will only write one example since it is the one that remained after my first experience in New York. During my first day, a pigeon had relieved itself on my hoodie. I asked one of the female staff members about what the hotel would charge to clean my hoodie. Instead, she recommended a laundromat that was across the street. She not only saved me time but she saved me money. On top of all of that, she answered all my questions regarding what to expect throughout the week since it was the week leading up to the New York City Marathon.

Broken elevator. Only one worked most of the stay, limited place to eat, horrible area trying to catch taxi or uber! Bell hops/Security was not helpful! I would never stay there again!

The buffet breakfast was watery eggs, thin hard bacon, french toast, porridge, juice, coffee, diced potatoes. The doors and elevators require tapping your room key, but it doesn't work on first try. The bathroom door was unable to be closed and we had to wait an hour to use the bathroom. The refrigerator barely got cool. The carpet had a bunch of stains. They had an ice machine that also dispensed water. The room had a mini coffee maker.

This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel in the past two years. It conveniently located to restaurants, a small store, and even a wine shop. The hotel was clean and last month I was alone and it seemed very safe. I will stay at this hotel again.

Hyatt Place at Times Square was a great stay for us (2) as we enjoyed the walkability to midtown from the hotel and the overall stay. Room was rather spacious with a clean bathroom. Hotel was ok, wished the TV Chromecast worked better, the staff was semi friendly and the breakfast was fair. For the price I wouldn’t stay again. The room didn’t have a microwave. Such an inconvenience

The guests skewed rather youth hostel for us, and breakfast was super crowded and ended much too early for a city that never sleeps. Never enough towels for 3 guests in one room even though I left a tip and a note for more towels. Staff in general were excellent. Room was tiny and the beds comfortable. I asked for any upgrade and was told they were completely sold out. When we checked online, there were many larger rooms available for our stay dates, so not sure what that was about. Nice location on 39th, but I will definitely move back farther north next visit.
