The staff were friendly from check-in to housekeeping to the breakfast coffee & pastry assistance. Hotel felt safe and was convenient to transportation (even walking to pizza down the block at midnight). Only downs were the 'cleanliness'- room carpets were suss... Bed was like a hard crib mattress on a plank; so think modest and manageable. Would still book again!

We loved our stay great location! Although the room was clean there was many things off woth the apartment. The shower head was risted and there were rust spots on the floor. The lights also didnt work sometimes. Other then that it was great amazing staff super helpful!

Great place to lay low in NYC

This place is awesome for those that don't like super hectic vibe of midtown. Staff is very laid back and friendly not all up in your face the second you walk in like the tourists hotels

Nice no frills option in Chelsea

The hotel offered a no frills, basic comforts stay. The room was clean, but showed signs of age (e.g. iron shaped burns on carpet and furniture). Breakfast was offered, but only between 8 and 10. If you want coffee before 8, visit one of the many coffee shops nearby, as there was no in room option and they were strict about the 8 am start. Very convenient location

This no-frills hotel is very affordable in a great (although not necessarily very pretty) location close to tons of restaurants, the subway, and Penn Station. While this is an older hotel and the furniture and hallway decor do not appear to have been updated in some time, it is very clean and the staff are friendly and quick to address any concerns. The included breakfast was very limited - coffee, tea, bagels (but no toaster), and muffins. I would definitely stay here again for the price and location alone.

Was ok. Water pressure was terrible in shower and toilet. Its one of those hotels where everyones room doors slam close which you'll feel in your room, which is incredibly annoying
