Great location -friendly staff all over. Breakfast (2nd fl) was excellent. Doormen were so professional! Room was slightly dated but clean and bathroom light did not work properly. Otherwise great hotel.

The staff were so kind and helpful, they did their very best to accommodate my early check in after a red eye flight, I was totally exhausted and they were at maximum occupancy. Amazing service, 24 hour room service, excellent food. I’m already planning my next trip back.

Park Lane New York is, quite literally, a poorly maintained budget hotel precariously planted in a high-riser facing Central Park property, and it shows. Old and dusty furniture, dirty and damp carpets, empty soap bottles in the bathroom… every corner whispers neglect. Specials for our stay was a broken air conditioner replaced by a Walmart tower fan, perched precariously on a short table and powered by a dangerously stretched cable: we nicknamed it Wally (Wally, if you read this, we miss your buzz!). Plus, for the woman of the house we had an ironing board with an iron already plugged in ready for us. My feminist wife felt it like a sarcastic touch from the staff. For the boldest travelers, the room also offers an array of mysterious stains and bodily-fluid patterns decorating the carpet and bedside furniture — true ornaments of the place. All of this for the modest price of over $1,000 per night, justified solely by a view of Central Park. That’s what we actually paid for: the view, not the stay in this tourist trap. Everything described is documented in photos. We arrived late at night and checked out the very next morning.

There were a number of issues that made it not a luxury/5-star experience. No coffee/tea in the room, poor quality bath robes, no bathroom amenities, no ability to request those amenities (like qtips or dental kits etc) no valet connected to the hotel (had to go outside the hotel and pay separately) and room service menu was limited and the restaurants are closed. Overall very inconvenient and not a luxurious experience at all. It should be listed as 4-star.

Disappointed containers in shower for shampoo, ETC were not replenished. Not good to find this out when you’re in the middle of a shower. If you have any enemies who ask you for a recommendation, suggest the Park Lane.. . it's pay back time! I don't know where to begin. The room they gave me was used and has not been cleaned. There was no one to check us in when we arrived. It's impossible to pull up to the hotel by car due to street repairs and they failed to notify us. But the location is great 😂

The hotel felt very old and badly maintained, the rooms were very dark. Carpets were dirty. Nothing included for bathroom toiletries. Felt very basic and mediocre. Will never stay there again.
