The room was a good size. Microwave and fridge were both clean. For a mini fridge it was a good size. Front desk Kevin super friendly and helpful when I tripped the circuit breaker because I had to many appliances running lol.

The staff was kind when checking in. We had a 2nd floor room, I asked if we could get 1st floor…no problem! They were pretty full. Full size coffee maker in room. Clean and comfortable!

The main concern was the general condition of the room as follows: 1)The flooring had rips in various places. 2) there was one bedside table. 3) the bathtub had no anti slip mat. 4) there were no handle bars in the bath to have a shower. To avoid potential accident we skipped the shower.

Nice old time motel

Stayed for two days in September 2025. Room had a king bed and a kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes, pot and pans you would need if you wanted to cook meals at the motel. Room was very clean. Motel looks like it is from the late 1950s and has had some updates but our room was a little tired but was good value for the price. Would recommend

The Blue Moon exceeded our expectations. Room 23. It is motel style with 2 levels of rooms with outside entrances. The room was slightly smaller than most hotel rooms. It was spotless! 2 queen beds. They wash all bedding, including the top spreads after each guest. Room included a large refrigerator, hot plate, full size coffee pot with coffee, full stock of dinnerware and glasses. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside on the balcony. The landscaping was beautiful! There is a large heated pool with plenty of seating around it, including 2 lounge swings with comfy cushions. There is patio seating with grills and picnic tables avaliable. All outdoor areas also well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back.

Misleading pictures and reviews .

It was quick one night stay as we were passing through the area . The reviews made me book this motel . I am totally confused as to this motel being called excellent. Easy things like painting need to be done badly . The room has a few bugs . It was ground floor so maybe it’s to be expected in summer . Flies were also pleasant and mosquitoes. It’s old and needs a total remodel . Even the furniture was very old and shows more wear than should be expected. On a positive note , the check in was great and so was the gentleman at the desk . We slept well also and the shower was small but worked well . I must say that the reviews and pictures are misleading on this property.
