Elevators took an unusually long time every day, which made getting around frustrating. The pedestrian bridge to the falls from the back of the property was closed for the entire stay, which was a big inconvenience. I originally booked when it was Embassy Suites, but it has since transitioned to Hyatt and there was quite a bit of construction going on that impacted the overall experience.
Breakfast was underwhelming compared to past stays, with very limited portions and options. On top of that, the additional fees felt excessive. I understand HST is required, but the other charges seemed more like add-ons rather than value, and parking was especially expensive.
On the positive side, the room itself was clean, modern, and had a usable fridge. The view was still great, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and pleasant.
Overall, this stay didn’t meet expectations based on my previous visits, which is disappointing. I would hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers making it right.
