Perfect Set UP

I stayed here to attend a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. This was a great spot. Close, beautiful accommodations, great for kids if you want to bring your family, the staff were fantastic, property owner was flexible and super responsive. 0.0 negative things to say. Highly recommend.

Nice property for a reasonable price

Decent property for the money. Convenient, close to everything. Very large property. Wasn't sure where to check in and listing included wifi but instructions weren't provided (had to sign up for Wingate Resort account). Shower and toilet area need a better cleaning. Some kind of splatter on vertical blinds and toilet rocks/not firmly bolted to floor. All in all just a few minor issues. Would stay again.

This is my second time staying here. The only issue that we had was the jet tub cut off after 2 minutes each time after getting it restarted. Other than that, it’s always a great experience. It’s located in a great location. Close to stores and restaurants.

Quick Trip

Check in process is a bit slow. Our girls enjoyed themselves and we enjoyed the family chill time a couple of hours away from home. Renovations and upgrades were in progress but did not cause inconvenience. Overall nice stay.

The AC quit working during our stay and I had a frustrating experience changing rooms very late at night. I explained the situation to Jake in a message very politely and he didn't even bother to respond. The pool/jacuzzi areas are also not supervised so there were 8-9 years olds splashing around in the jacuzzi until 10 pm.

Had a great time at The Westgate Resort. Will be staying here again. Was very satisfied with this stay. VRBO never contacted us back about rebooking from another home that canceled two days before our trip. Which is very disappointing .The Westgate was very accommodating especially at the last minute.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here! Only 2 downsides were; the pullout couch was awful. I definitely wouldn't plan on this being a "bed" for someone. And the timeshare experience sounded like it would be low key but was definitely high pressure. The room, location and customer service was otherwise great.
