The home was beautiful, however the pool needs to be sanded. The concrete is beyond rough. 4 of our children received scraps and bruises. 1 child’s bruise is so bad, we can’t remove the bandage.

The overall experience was positive, however, there were some issues with the staff efficiency and service speed. Additionally, there was an error in processing my payment, as I was mistakenly charged for another customer's order at the bar. This situation has left me quite disappointed.

We were told we had to check in late. More time to clean? But there was marks on the walls and carpet. Found a comb in one of the beds. There was supposed to be a gift card as part of the package. But after being told to call expedia. Then saying they would send it over. The next day they said they no longer offer it. So not impressed with the people that I dealt with. But the villas are nice and the location is good.

Our stay at Villatel Resort was AMAZING. Our unit was nicely decorated, spacious, and it's in a prime location. I will definitely be booking a future stay. I rented the 5 bedroom villa. Upon driving onto the property, I was impressed with everything. It was a family friendly property and it was an amazing stay. The villa was modern, updated, and very clean. Each bedroom and bathroom was stylishly decorated. Unless I find something better, this will be my family's vacation spot for future stays. Awesome property!

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful stay at Villatel! My family and I truly enjoyed every moment. The property was incredibly comfortable and felt like a home away from home. One thing we especially appreciated was the added sense of safety—having security regularly drive around gave us great peace of mind. Everything about our experience was top-notch, and we’re already excited to come back soon!

Check-in was rough, and it only got worse from there. There were no washcloths provided in any of the 6 bathrooms. We made multiple requests and were told they provide them on a first-come, first-served basis and they were currently out. We weren’t asking for extras we had been given none at all for our stay. 11 hours later, we received just six washcloths for 11 people, and one of them was soiled. This was for a 4-day, 3-night stay with a family of 11. At that point, I had no choice but to drive to a local Walmart and buy our own completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point. Management was nonexistent. Response times were painfully slow, and when I asked to speak with a manager, I never received a call back—instead, I got unrelated text messages that had nothing to do with my concerns. To make matters worse, the resort advertises a long list of amenities, but charges extra for nearly all of them: $150 to heat the spa A fee to use the on-site grill, despite it being listed as an amenity An outrageous $800 cleaning fee, yet we were still expected to take out the trash, load the dishwasher, and tidy up before checkout. If you wanted your villa cleaned during your stay, you better pull out more $, because the $800 cleaning fee doesn’t cover it. We paid over $3,200 and were left feeling completely ripped off. The resort looks five-star, but the service, hidden fees, and lack of hospitality make it a one-star experience. We will not be returning.

Home was very clean. Pool was a little small but perfect for a quick cool off. Staff was amazing. I met a man by the name of Darrel and he was fantastic. The resort was really close to everything which made it nice. I highly recommend this place for families of all sizes. The themed bunk room was a huge hit with the kids!
