Rest Your Head

This was a nice and cozy apartment. It had all you would need for a short stay with a friend. The bed was a queen size and the bedroom included a nice walk in closet. It was the only closet for storage. Kitchen was full and included a nice dishwasher. Air conditioner was adequate enough to keep you cool on a humid day. Overall, if you had to stay somewhere that you needed as a home base this is your place. It is easy to get to, available parking nearby and its across the street from Philadelphia's phinest.

Check-In and Communication were great by the host. Location was super convenient to bus & metro and most importantly where I needed to be during my trip. Full kitchen and washer/dryer and central heat/air were also really nice to have. Plenty of space for a single traveler or a couple, but wouldn't necessarily recommend two people who aren't sharing the bed together. The couch in the living room was way too small for an adult to comfortably sleep on.Things that could be improved: paint cracking and fingerprints and dirt on doors. Stains on dining table chairs and throw pillows on the couch. While there was a single dishwasher pod and dawn dish soap for hand-washing, there was no surface disinfectant cleaner like Lysol for cleaning off the dining table, kitchen counter, and bathroom surfaces when needed. Ended up having to use the dawn dish soap to keep the place clean for the week i was there.

All in all, the aprt. and the bedroom was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body & hand soap were of great quality. I choose this place for several "excellent, exceptional clean" ratings, but I discovered my premises with stenchy decorative pillows, carpet and and 2 stained chairs. There were fingersmears on nearly all surfaces of the kitchen and the air-conditioning set. They either need some SERIOUS, deep cleaning or replacement. I brought this to the attention of a person with a cleaning tray on the floor twice, even asked for supplies to clean at least the kitchen myself, but he was unable or unwilling to communicate. I was not getting any check-in codes or information for over 4-5 hours into my reservation and had to contact Vbro. I felt, it was way overpriced, especially in regard to the hygienic issue.
Stains on the mattress, seats, kitchen has had no real surface cleaning (greasy and sticky surfaces, dial knots etc.)
