Roost was awesome, but people do smoke in the building. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect to go to Reading Terminal Market, nearby shopping, the Liberty Bell and museums!

This is a great property & a great alternative to the traditional hotel room. The room was like a studio apartment with a kitchen, big island with 2 chairs, washer dryer, frig/freezer etc. The room was a nice size & very clean with modern decor. The bathroom was really big with plenty of shelf space for toiletries. The bed was very comfortable too. I only have a few criticisms about the room, but that wouldn’t discourage me from recommending this place as overall we were very happy. The pillows were not that comfortable. I recommend getting bigger fluffier pillows. Although the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, glasses & some cookware, it did not have a frying pan so we had to make eggs in a big pot. While there was a dishwasher, I wanted to clean some dishes by hand and there were no sponges so I had to grab towels from the bathroom to wash the dishes. Also, there were no USB ports to plug your iPhone & other devices into &I had to rearrange things on the nightstand & move the cordless cell phone, which I don’t know that anyone uses anymore, to the floor & move the extension cord that was on the floor onto the nightstand so I could plug all of our devices into. Besides that, the room was really really nice. There is a big gym & even a nice outside patio on the top floor. The location is awesome. It is walkable to the convention center & many restaurants & shops. Parking across the street is $50 but you can park about a 10 min walk away for $26/day if you show hotel card

Great place. Clean, safe, with a receptionist available. People that live in the buildings are also nice and everyone is welcoming. At walk distance for main attractions. Great stay for few nights. And great for a solo traveller.

The atmosphere of the property felt a little more intentional than most places, it was modern and clean, and I was only there for one night but it would be ideal for a longer stay. the only thing that really fell short for me was how there was no coffee and tea to make easily. whole beans and water were availible, but no cream, no tea, no sugar, and some other device than a real coffee pot. That made the warm surroundings feel cold, and my morning waking up loathsome. The bed was comfortable and i give 10 out of 10 on the pillows

Perfect Location!

This is a really cool hotel! I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Philly. You need a key to activate the front door after dark & elevator so the building is secure. Someone was always at the front desk when we walked in which was nice. We had a 1br apartment & absolutely loved it. If you’re visiting Philly to bar hop, eat & sightsee this is the place for you! We didn’t need transportation because most things are walking distance.
