The room was great. The location is great. The staff were excellent. The only negative was the poor service at the restaurant. Two of the four meals I ate at the restaurant I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get seated and get my food.

This property is right across the street from the historic Christ Church Graveyard and only 3 blocks from Independence Hall. It is everything you'd expect from a Wyndham; upscale, modern, and comfortable. It was an ideal home base for us to explore historic Philadelphia.

I stayed with my family for 3 nights. The room and hotel were clean and very conveniently located. The bartender was great. The front desk was helpful. The reason for a loss of a star was the following:The breakfast was good but pricey at $20 for a buffet. Our tub was not draining on the first morning but was fixed immediately. Also we got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes which was not fun. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great location & staff!

Room could have been swept better,,,under bedskirt. Otherwise clean & comfortable. Desk staff, esp. Ameria gave great directions to be able to get the subway to the Wm. Gray Station, etc. No breakfast :-( but loved being able to walk to the Liberty Bell museum, park, and even to Reading Terminal Mkt. and we are in later 70's. Just around the corner is "Old City Pizza" on 3rd. Delicious mom & pop with lots more than pizza!

We stayed for the weekend to see the Chinese Lantern Festival. Great location. All of the historical landmarks, Reading Terminal Market, shops, and restaurants were within walking distance. We loved this neighborhood. We've stayed in Philly before, and this has been my favorite location thus far. The hotel is nice. The hallways are a bit dark, and the carpet should be replaced. But the room was clean and comfortable to be in. We will definitely use this hotel again.
