Overall, the stay was comfortable, but check-in was a bit challenging. The arrival instructions seemed geared toward guests arriving by car, and there werenât clear directions for those using rideshare or public transportation. It also would have been helpful to have the exact building address rather than just the complex name, as that made navigation more difficult on arrival. Clarifying these details would make the experience smoother for future guests.
Great hip location walking distance to good food and cute shops. Public bus stop right next to development. Large studio suite decorated hip and modern. Great view of skyline from windows. All dishes and cookware are there if you choose to cook. Neighborhood is really nice and feels safe overall.
There was no remote for the TV and we asked several times for help getting one. There is no onsite help. There was absolutely no parking available even though it was stated " plenty of free parking on 39th street" this is just absolutely not true. The local people laughed when asked about street parking being available. The check out process was unclear as I couldn't get the key box to open back to depsosit the key back. The studio was really pretty dirty and only 2 bath towels for 2 people for 5 days was pretty sparse. Most of the dishes and pots had food stuck on them and had to be washed before using. The price was good if it had been any higher we would have left and got a hotel room somewhere instead.
This property was great. Communication was great and I always got quick responses. Loved the apartment. It was clean and had everything I needed. The only thing I had trouble with was the process of finding the key and locating the room. The whole process was a bit confusing, a the key box is in a completely different building from the apartment and the buildings are not super clearly marked. I do feel that the company did its best with an outline of how to find everything which incuded photos. it was just a bit confusing and I had to lug my bag all over the complex trying to find everything. Overall I had a great stay and would stay again!
We followed all check in instructions to pick up our entry fob. They were very detailed and thorough. HOWEVER, the fob did not work for any of the building doors. Even though we checked in at 4 pm on our check in day (Sunday), there was nobody available to help us. It was odd that they would set a check in time after all workers are gone for the day. We had to wait for a tenant to open the building door for us multiple times on the first day. It was awful and left us out in the cold for 30 minutes at one point. It left us feeling confined to the apartment once we got in. We called the number on the listing but the person who helped us lived in Texas so it ultimately was zero help (although she tried and was very nice). We could not get the fob fixed until the second day or our stay. Once that was taken care of, the rest of the trip was seamless.
Once we finally did get into our apt, there were a few small cleanliness issues (dirty toilet, only one towel available, dirt on floor under and around bed). The apt itself was nice, small, and relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable. All in all, I donât think Iâd stay again on a weekend, as there was no staff actually available to help us at all!
Parking was also less than ideal as street parking in Pittsburgh is often hard to find.
