Absolutely loved my stay. It felt like a mini apartment and had everything I needed from a beach bag to a wine opener. Nice towels and sheets. Felt luxurious. The pool was cute and clean. I almost always was there by myself early mornings. There are night clubs across the street but you’re on vacation so stay up a little. I stayed in a balcony corner suit I think? Room 7. You’d love it. The breakfast was a nice touch. Mostly fruit and breads. I would take it to the roof top with my coffee.

Don’t read all the reviews. This is a perfect boutique atmosphere. Yes it’s on 5th. Yes there is music playing until bar close. That’s part of the appeal. We sat on our balcony and enjoyed the people watching. The staff is kind. Don’t expect to get five star service for the great price. The hotel was clean, welcoming, chic and just what was needed. Our room was a king with jacuzzi and was a great size. The hotel is small and not overwhelmed by people. We will be back.

The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and all around excellent. The hotel is small and quaint in a great location. The beds and linen were comfy and clean. The rooms are dated however and in need of renovating: Paint chipping, stained counters etc. The pool area is nice but the water was a tad murky. That said, the people working there is what made our experience lovely.

Really great location!! If you want to be in the middle of everything on 5th, this is your spot. The music might be a little loud until early am hours on the weekend. So it’s not a quiet get away place… on the weekend. But I wouldn’t complain about traffic and sirens if I stayed in midtown Manhattan either. It’s par for the course.

So my take on boutique hotels is that it's cool if like the unfinished look. It's a small room with minimalist approach. We like the pool right outside our room and the hippy cafe right there. Very convenient location in the centre of the strip. Aside from the lack of toilet paper having to ask for it daily, and the right spaces, it's a meh.

It was a wonderful day. Property is located in the very center of fifth Avenue, which is amazing. I didn’t have any issue with the noise at night from the club in front but other people can’t sleep. The price is very reasonable. Don’t need downsize is the smell coming out of the bathroom? It was like a sewer smell. It was very nice property. Staff were very friendly and it was very clean

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a wonderful property & we will continue to book this property for the next times we visit Playa Del Carmen. It does sit on top of a nightclub so it can be loud, the wifi can be unstable, & there is no elevator but for the rooms, location, & price it’s definitely worth it.
