Very close to all the shops, restaurants and funicular. We thought the hotel was a little dated but for the price we paid, it was a screaming good deal. Clean, comfortable bed. We never saw a staff member as this place is all automated.

The construction happening outside of the hotel is significant. The inconvenience isn't necessarily access, as it was made to sound like during contact, but that city workers begin at 6:30am everyday and the generators run 24 hours. The noise is distracting and consistent.

The place is really beautiful. The staff was really easy to reach for help (I called them to check-in early and needed the old access code). Someone quickly came to help me.
