When I checked in it looked to be fine next morning I left for the day when I came back later that night the room was not restored bed was not made towels was not replaced upon the next day it was the same issue towels was not replaced an the bed was never remade. For this to a Hyatt regency I feel that it was unacceptable. I’ve stayed in other hotels that don’t set up to their standards and has had better service.

I always book a hotel with my stay but this one charge taxes and parking that they didn’t say I had to pay when I checked in. When I checked into the room the floor was still wet. Housekeeping wasn’t scheduled to come until the 3rd night of my 4 night stay. Just overall terrible and unexpected.

Hi Hyatt, All the staff we interacted with were very professional, helpful, and kind. We loved breakfast at Astor on Main . The coffee shop in the lobby was disappointing because it advertised bagels but didn't have these and weren't open on Sunday. We wish that overall the hotel could have been cleaner.

Pros: nice view on high floor; firm bed Cons: centrally located in downtown Rochester where running into homeless transients and drug addicts is guaranteed day & night; limited dining options within hotel especially in the evening; vending machines? Serious? Hotel is old and it shows. Don't be fooled by the name and pictures. Conclusion: overall OK; unsafe area; there are better options close by. Will not stay here again.

Pool was so cloudy you couldn’t even see the bottom in the shallow end. My girls wouldn’t even go in, and they’re 9 and 11 so if that doesn’t speak volumes when a child won’t even swim in it. Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. Rooms were dirty. The outdoor terrace which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel (plus pool and river view location) wasn’t even open. I paid extra for river view and it was definitely not what I would consider something to pay extra for.

The staff is fine. However the resturant which was used for breakfast was disgustingly dirty and ill kept. Especially the carpeted floor. The resurant on the lobby level was fine as well. It is just the breakfast area.
