It’s on a beautiful inlet. There are no amenities however, bring your stuff or go 15 min into Baddeck for groceries and a great meal at the Freight Shed. The rooms are super clean, no AC but a fan is provided and well ventilated. Staff very nice. I would stay here again. If your the kind of person that needs a full service hotel this is not for you, but if you want a nice clean room, nice staff, great view this is great. Great location right next to Cabot trail. Don’t eat next door, not owned by hotel and ok at best. Very pet friendly but make sure you CALL to tell them what your traveling with for a pet, even if you booked a pet friendly room. Due to some glitch w Travelocity/Expedia they can’t limit the number of pet friendly rooms that can be booked even though they have a limited number!

Very clean. Nice view. No real amenities it’s a very basic but very nice place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location. Room is roomy and everything you need. Dog / pet friendly but make sure you call once you book to let them know you have a pet coming! Would totally stay here again. Restaraunt next door but would recommend the 15 min trip into Baddeck to eat at the Freight Shed, pretty drive and great location by a lighthouse, food amazing.
