Great house during work event

We had to be in town for a large trade show and the house worked out great. The location to the Riverwalk and convention center was perfect. If ever in town again I would re-book this house.

Very clean. Nice little house. Good local restaurants in the area. Within walking distance of the Alamodome and the Riverwalk. If attending anything at the Alamodome, best place to be. Would definitely book again in the future.

Great Location for Convention Center

We are a small business group that needed a place to stay near the convention center. It was just a short 10 minute walk away. Bertha is also lovely host that is great with communication. Will absolutely stay again in the future!

Perfect Family Time!

The location is less than a mile from the Riverwalk and the Alamo! It was perfectly stocked with anything we needed and we appreciated the host communication. Keep in mind it is a downtown area going through gentrification but this property is 100%updated. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and hospitality. Would book again!

This home is close to everything. The longest drive was 19 minutes which was nothing. We loved our stay and will book again in the future.

Such a cozy and beautiful home!

Our weekend stay was perfect! Bertha's house was very comfortable and spacious. Bertha was very responsive. The house all you need and more. We enjoyed the backyard set up very comfortable and inviting. I would most definitely stay here again and again. A++

Clean house everything you need to cook. Big enough. If you rent be aware that you will need a car because it's not so close to the city. Also it was noisy because of the railroad close to the house and also there were 2 dogs that seems to be alone barking all the time

Great location and set up

This was the perfect set up for our family of 7. Location was great. It is a revitalization area so that comes with its own ups and downs however we felt safe and secure. Beds were very comfortable, best sleep I have had in a while actually. The toiletries and the extras in the kitchen made the stay that much better. Only complaint was the disposal was not working, I made the owner aware. I would definitely book this home again.

It was very clean n beautiful house. I was not prepared for Texas cockroach’s. We had put our food away because it was infested with ants. But she was very prompted on helping me take care of them with windex.

Not a vacation destination!

kudos to the owner for efforts to improve the neighborhood. Unfortunately this property is in an unsafe area. Directly across the street and nearby are houses boarded up or surrounded by trash, discarded furniture, stagnant water-filled old appliances, fenced snarling dogs, and derelict houses waiting for resurrection. (photos available.) We had to get hotel rooms for our mulitgen group., with no help from VRBO.

San Antonio or bust

This property was in a great location for downtown San Antonio. We were in walking distance form the river walk. 1 mile and you were there. Just gonna be honest, when you first get in the neighborhood you are a little nervous with all you see. We had no problems and felt very safe. We walked to the river walk every day and walking home at night was no problem. We got in late the first day and went to The Dakoda just a block and a half away. A real dive bar but had great food. Just down the block is The Cherrity Bar and Ramom restaurant. This place is the BOMB. The food is amazing and the staff was top notch. If we when back to San Antonio we would definitely rent this place again. The owner was in communication through VIRBO the entire time.

Met a couple of friends for reunion and to explore a new city. This well appointed house was perfect as a base for exploring the city or sitting and relaxing before and after our forays to the River Walk, museums and Missions. Mist enjoyable time
