Historic 1927 Spanish Casita Minutes from our famous DT destinations.

Casita is pet friendly as long as your furs are friendly to casita. And as long as my wonderful guests don’tkeep honoring this, I will not have pet fees. 🐶 For some reason the app is saying casita does not allow pets, but she most definitely does.

Only a few minutes from downtown locations, 15 min from Fiesta Texas and 30 min from SeaWorld, casita is a perfect and safe getaway with the property all to yourself and contactless check in and check out.

Feel the San Antonio culture with this festive, historic Spanish-style 1927 home. This El Mercado inspired home features a cozy interior/exterior with vibrant artwork/decorations thruout. Enjoy a meal or cocktail outside where you'll find a BBQ/pergola area that includes a fire pit and over-sized cedar benches with room for everyone. Entire residence is fenced in. Inside, relax at the bar, dining room or cozy living area.

Additional amenities: Casita is pet friendly as long as your furs are friendly to casita (see pet instructions below). There's a TV in every room, Alexa in inside, record player (see care instructions below), Scrabble, Boggle, Bananagram or my fav, Mexican Bingo, other games too, quaint work area, faux fireplace, kitchen bar, claw tub in master bath, king bed in master bedroom, queen bed in guest bedroom. There are also two patios to lounge on as well as the fire pit area and hot tub deck with a hammock. There's free parking all around the residence and the car port can fit 2 cars or trucks comfortably.

You’re close to every one of these hot spots I’m listing. Alamo, Riverwalk, El Mercado, The Pearl area, Southtown, Blue Star Complex, Alamo Heights, Broadway dowtown, SeaWorld, Fiesta Texas and our zoo if you have kids and so much more.

Famous places to eat at, pick up or have delivered include Mi Tierra's, La Margartia, The Original Blanco cafe, Chris Madrids, the Smoke Shack and the Cove to name just a few. There are also a ton of authentic dive Mexican eateries you can check out via take out or delivery. My favorite is just down the street ... El Rafas Cafe. And omg tacos ... you gotta get you some taco take out ‘cause San Antonio has the best tacos on the planet! There’s an awesome authentic taco spot down the street ... Rolando's Super Tacos!

There’s also a local Neighborhood HEB grocery store right down the street.

There’s plenty of delivery options for anything you could want or need. If you aren’t driving to casita but flying in, there‘s a bus stop down the street and car rental, there’s also ride share, that’s always my go to. Whatever option you choose, if you decide to go out, it’ll all be convenient because you are just a few minutes ride to most of the hot spots.

If you have pets, please ensure there is ZERO evidence your fur babies were ever at Casa De San Antonio. Las Casita es mi preciosa gem. I lived here for 5 years and put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in it. Also the property is fenced, but your furs could figure their way out, so I wouldn’t ever leave them unattended outside.

RECORD PLAYER AND ALBUMS ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN TO HANDLE., but tacos they can handle all they want! AND ADULTS, PLEASE HANDLE THE NEEDLE AND ALBUMS LIKE IT’S YOUR ABUELITA - with extreme care.

CHECK OUT is at 11:00 a.m. Please put all your used towels in the washer or the hamper. No need to strip the sheets, we will take care of that. Wash, dry and put away any used dishes. Be sure to close the hot tub lid and the security gate on your way out.

For guests with extended stays: Recycle day (blue bin)is every Mon. Trash day (back bin) - every Thurs.

HOT TUB USE: Remove cover when in use, put it back on when not in use. To operate the control panel, keep temp at 99-102 degrees by pressing the + and – button. The button next to that, press it once to turn the hot tub on, press again to turn it off. Press the light button next to that button to turn on the lights when using at night, press it again to turn it off when not using. Do NOT touch the last button.

Additional things to know about casita:

I have string lights in the back area around the car port, pergola, hot tub area and bbq pit roof. There are two plugs you can plug in by the car port where the bird house is hanging. You can keep them plugged in every night if you’d like. They are so pretty when they are on at night. There’s also a power strip by the hot tub TV for the other string lights.
There’s a security camera outside by the back door.
