We enjoyed our stay at this San Antonio property. This is our second Thanksgiving at his home. The house was ready for us on time. My daughter lives in SA and had made a grocery run at HEB and they allowed her to unload the groceries a little early so she only had to unload them once. The house has large pots to cook for our Thanksgiving group. Lots of sleeping space to accommodate our extended family of 13. Had such a great time, plan on renting again nest year for the thirds time.

Hi. I stayed at this property this past weekend and I was told that we would get a refund for our first night since the house was not cleaned prior to our check in time at 4pm and we we unable to check in until 8pm. We never received a credit or refund even after numerous attempts of reaching out to the property manager. The projector in the living room did not work and we were told someone would come out to assist but noone ever did. Also, the drawer in the refrigerator was broken, dish washer was not working properly and got plugged up, as well as the kitchen sink. The location was nice but the overall stay was disappointing for me and my family.
Refrigerator drawer was broken and impossible to open.
Dishwasher did not work properly and got plugged up.
Kitchen sink got plugged up even though there was nothing in the sink.

The property was nice. Pool was nice. The house was not cleaned especially the bathrooms. Kitchen was nice but very unorganized drawers and cabinets. They provided pleanty or towels. Great neighborhood. The house was beautifully despite the uncleanness.

Thanksgiving 2025 - Quirky but Functional

Overall, we had a good stay. There wasn’t much time for TV, but the electronics could use some TLC. We planned to drop stuff off and go meet friends for dinner. I had to wait for TV maintenance to come get the TVs working, and by that time, we missed our dinner date. There were five remotes in the living room. One turned it on, one controlled the volume, and one changed the channel. Direct TV had been notified there were issues, and on our last day, they arrived to troubleshoot TV issues. Many of the TVs run on Roku rather than Direct TV. Some Roku modules were in various states of disrepair as were the gaming consoles in the family room. One of the doors on the dryer didn't close, but there were two dryers so we used the one that worked. All of this to say, it would be nice to have these issues resolved before guests arrive. The TV situation was not a deal breaker. We will most likely rent this same property next year. A good deep cleaning and some organization of kitchen cabinets would be nice. Pro tip: There are no hand towels or a trash can in the hall bath. Put a roll of paper towels and the trash can from the bedroom in the bath and it's all good.

Disappointing Stay with Multiple issues

Review: Our stay was not what we expected. The problems started when the address provided was incorrect, leading to a last-minute change that added stress to our arrival. The address listed says it is in Helotes however the home is actually in San Antonio. Additionally, the property did not seem well-maintained. The floors and rugs were very dirty, and there were areas that could use a deep clean. Although the overall space and function of the home was nice, it was concerning that there were exposed wires and modem in the living area, which was particularly alarming as we had small children with us. The first night we went to cook dinner we discovered the oven was broken and we had to order food last minute. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations. Would not recommend.

Best vacation

This is my second time booking this house for a family gathering. Like the first time it did not disappoint. I personally loved the hot tub, house is extra spacious and cleanliness of the property is exceptional. The host is quick to answer your messages. I give this rental 5 star's.

Wrong address given at time of booking. Gave this address to all guests and found out day before correct address. Place was very roomy for 25+ but pool area not clean, furniture, chairs broke or damaged, seats worn out. Looked like update projects were starting but never finished. Random debris laying around sitting area.

Best Bach Weekend Ever!

Awesome House with an amazing pool! Fast and friendly response time to any questions we had about the property! This house will NOT disappoint. We had a huge bachelorette weekend here and the house was so spacious! Huge rooms with huge beds and amazing mattresses and linens! Best choice ever!!!

Fun Thanksgiving with Family

We had a wonderful time at this amazing property. There was plenty of room for everyone and kids loved using the hot tub. Drives to Sea World and Six Flags from the house were pretty easy. The 2 ovens and gas grill made cooking for Thanksgiving much easier. Overall fun times!

“Casa de los abuelos”

The house is very accommodating for large families. We took our grandparents. They enjoyed staying there while we were out at the water parks. It was a home away from home for them. They need to get a better cleaning service or maybe it’s time for a deep cleaning & organizing day. But then I’m a bit OCD ;)
